Open information and computer integrated technologies are the basis of quality and efficiency of production, science and educational process.
In the CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM educational-scientific-production center of the National Aerospace University, developed a methodology for creating aviation equipment using CATIA, SIEMENS NX, NASTRAN NX, ANSYS, Kompas systems.
The center implements the concept of training students, specialists in industry, science and education to work in the conditions of computer integrated production.
Training students to work in open information and computer integrated systems begins in the first courses with the study of light and medium CAD/CAM, the Compass system and continues in the senior courses with the mastering of the CATIA, SIEMENS NX, NASTRAN NX, ANSYS systems.
The skills of working in these systems are consolidated during course and diploma design. Classes are conducted by experienced teachers and specialists, which ensures effective mastering of the specified systems and methodology of computer modeling, analysis, preparation of production and management of the process of creating aviation equipment.
With the help of computer integrated systems, CAD/CAM/CAE CATIA and SIEMENS NX, students, teachers and employees of the university perform construction and modeling of various aircraft and their structural elements, design technological equipment, create control programs for CNC machines, carry out analysis of the stress-deformed state of structural elements with the help of NASTRAN NX and ANSYS systems.
Local information and computing networks of the educational-scientific-production center are combined with local networks of university departments. Access to the global Internet information network ensures the integration of the educational center with leading aviation, educational and scientific centers of Ukraine and the world, allowing for prompt exchange of information with them.
Specialists of the educational-scientific-production center carry out scientific research on the development of methods of integrated design, construction, engineering analysis and preparation for the production of aviation equipment using computer systems.
Educational and methodical, scientific and technical documentation is created in different languages and transmitted both on paper media using printers and plotters of formats from A4 to A0, and in electronic form on various media.
International scientific and methodical conferences are held on the basis of the educational-scientific-production center, and the collection of scientific works of KhAI "Open Information and Computer Integrated Technologies" is published.
Structure of the center
-Aircraft modeling laboratory using the CATIA system (with the help of the licensed computer integrated CAD/CAM/CAE CATIA system, students, teachers and employees of the university perform construction and modeling of various aircraft and their structural elements)
-Aircraft modeling laboratory using the SIEMENS NX system (using the SIEMENS NX licensed computer integrated CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM system, students, teachers and employees of the university perform construction and modeling of various aircraft and their structural elements)
-Aircraft modeling laboratory using the KOMPAS system (training students to work in open information and computer integrated systems begins in the first courses of studying light and medium CAD/CAM, such as the "KOMPAS" license system)
-Laboratory of process modeling using CAD/CAM/CAE systems (with the help of computer integrated systems, CAD/CAM/CAE works are carried out on the design and modeling of various aircraft and their structural elements, the design of technological equipment, the creation of control programs for machines with numerical software control)
- Laboratory of open information technologies (ensures the use of the latest information technologies in the educational process; organizes access for students and employees to the Internet in the computer classroom of the laboratory; organizes the search for necessary information, implementation of electronic document circulation, assistance to users in carrying out searches in the use of communication and multimedia software means; organizes training courses for university employees; provides legal and operational support, provision of the material and technical base for the operation of the center and control and operational repair of equipment)
-Laboratory of engineering analysis (with the help of computer integrated systems, CAD/CAM/CAE works are carried out on the design and modeling of various aircraft and their structural elements and analysis of the stress-strain state of structural elements)
-Laboratory of engineering linguistics (creation of educational, methodological, scientific and technical documentation in various languages; professional translation of technical literature using Ukrainian and English; processing of documents in electronic form and preparing them for printing)
-Laboratory of system software (development, implementation and study of the latest software for the educational process in the field of system administration of local networks; management of security servers under the control of the FreeBSD operating system using standard system tools and the use of the pfSence system; setting up and ensuring the operation of computer classes for the educational process; management of Microsoft network domains; administration of local networks of subordinate units: division of local networks into units and their mutual use; local network management with using Wi-Fi wireless tethering; managing e-mail servers running FreeBSD operating system, Postfix, Dovecot mail system; implementing open source software for servers and clients; implementing applications software for distance learning: BlueButton, ATutor; maintenance of workplaces using Microsoft Windows, Ubuntu operating systems; maintenance of workplaces using remote workplaces - a system of remote terminals; virtualization of software, operating systems - Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare vSphere ESXi, Oracle VirtualBox; management of network licenses for AD/CAM/CAE systems such as - CATIA, SIEMENS NX, KOMПAC; development of software for the educational process: development of a software complex of laboratory works with a web interface for the first faculty - Java programming language; management of materials posted on the university website; Microsoft DreamSpark management. -Laboratory of technical support (development and implementation of organizational and technical means for timely and high-quality maintenance and operation of computer and peripheral equipment, timely implementation of repair work; organization, operation and maintenance of uninterrupted round-the-clock work of the INTERNET network and CAD/CAM/CAE systems; training and conducting periodic tests of the knowledge of the center's technical staff related to the operation and repair of electronic equipment; timely processing of orders for equipment and components for repair and operational needs.
