113 Applied Mathematics
The objects of activity of graduates of this specialty are mathematical methods, models, algorithms, and software designed for research, analysis, and design of processes and systems in various specific subject areas.
The purpose of training is to train specialists who are able to:
- to formulate, solve and generalize practical problems using fundamental and special applied methods of mathematical and computer sciences;
- solve the problems of mathematical modeling of processes and phenomena in conditions of uncertainty and incomplete information regarding the functioning of the system of objects;
- build, research and apply mathematical models based on data and knowledge, create and operate software.
Preparation is carried out at the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Artificial Intelligence (Department 304)
