Polytechnic University of Turin (TPU), Italy
The integration of young scientists and specialists of Ukraine into the European and world community is an urgent need of our time. There are various ways to accomplish this task. One of them is the training of students under joint programs and in close cooperation with the leading specialized universities of the world. The idea of KhAI students studying at the Turin Polytechnic University was born in 2008 during the visit of Volodymyr Kryvtsov , rector of KhAI, to Italy. In the same year, a framework project on such cooperation was signed. After detailed study, a general agreement was approved in 2010, which established the principles of joint training. According to the approved plan, students study for two years at the National Aerospace University, and then for two years at the Polytechnic University of Turin, where, after graduation, they receive a qualification and a European bachelor's degree in the field of "Aerospace engineering". At the same time as studying in Italy, students continue their studies at KhAI, study relevant disciplines, pass tests and exams, and also receive a bachelor's qualification and a diploma of the state model of Ukraine.
Immediately after the signing of the general agreement, the preparation of all those willing to study in Italy began. A special feature of education is that the subjects are taught only in Italian. That is why Italian language study groups were formed at our university. The total number of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students attending such groups is more than 120 people. And for the second year, the number of those willing has not decreased. The selection of students who will have the opportunity to study at the Polytechnic University of Turin is conducted on a competitive basis, taking into account the results of studying Italian, as well as general success during the entire period of study at the Khai.
After graduating from the Polytechnic University of Turin and KhAI, bachelors have the opportunity to continue their studies and obtain a master's degree both in Ukraine and abroad.
The presence of two diplomas at once, as well as life experience in the conditions of European society, gives the possibility of further free employment both at enterprises of Ukraine and at leading enterprises of the aviation industry abroad.
