The main tasks of the educational process

The tasks of education at the University are:

- preparation of conscious intelligence, maintaining the intellectual gene pool of the nation, cultural enhancement capabilities that provide high efficiency of future specialists;

- education of future specialists by authoritative, highly educated, bearers of high general political, legal, intellectual, socio-psychological, aesthetic, physical culturesи;

- creating conditions for the free development of the individual, his thinking and general culture, involvement in various types of creative activities;

- formation of civic, social activity and responsibility;

- awareness of the relationship between individual freedom and human rights and civic duty;

- enrichment of aesthetic experience, participation in the revival and creation of national and cultural traditions of the city, region, expansion of creative ties with cultural institutions, development of artistic abilities;

- creating conditions for self-realization of the individual in accordance with his abilities, social and personal interests;

- promoting a healthy lifestyle, eradicating bad habits and preventing crime;

- creating the necessary conditions for the effective development of student government, identifying potential leaders and organizers;

- formation of respect for one's alma mater, observance and development of democratic and academic traditions of higher education.  

The purpose of the educational process in KHAI is comprehensively realized both in the educational process and outside it.

Responsibility for the organization and effectiveness of educational work rests with the head of the educational department, deputy deans of faculties of educational work, group curators. The specific responsibilities of the organizers of the educational process are enshrined in job descriptions.

The department of educational work is engaged in coordination of educational work at faculties, educational work in student dormitories, work with student self-government bodies, cultural and mass work and organization of students' leisure, lecture-propaganda and social work.

The main tasks of the department: 

- training of highly qualified, harmoniously developed engineering staff, formation of their skills of the future organizer and production manager;

- carrying out educational work with the use of modern pedagogical methods of carrying out educational wor;

- development of students' social activity, responsibility for the task, spiritual maturity and cultural education;

- identification and realization of creative abilities of students, promotion of harmonious development of the student's personality;

- development of students' motivation to study and research;

- involvement of students in labor activity, sports, participation in amateur art and participation in student associations and interest clubs;

- implementation of preventive work to prevent offenses;

- creating the necessary conditions for students to live in the dormitory;

- control of academic and labor discipline of students, response to various offenses;

- legal, psychological support, protection of mental health and social well-being of all participants in the educational process with the help of free psychological support;

- coordination of the educational process with the activities of the trade union organization of students and other public associations;

- promoting the development of the structure of student government;

- promoting the organization of extracurricular independent work of students;

- disseminating the experience of excellent students and promoting the learning of excellent students;

- study of innovative experience of educational work of other educational institutions of Ukraine and introduction of advanced achievements in the educational process of the University.
