Gas-Turbine Units and Compressor Stations
Gas-turbine engines and power plants are widely used to power airplanes and helicopters, river and sea ships, to drive oil-transfer pumps and gas-pumping units. They are employed in auxiliary power units and normal or standby sources of energy to provide pneumatic, electric and heat power.
Gas-turbine engine is the most difficult thermal machine, created by mankind. The design of such type of the machine requires knowledge of mathematics, physics, general engineering disciplines and domains by the advanced computer technologies, the special knowledge.
Our graduates successfully work on the leading enterprises for design, manufacturing and service of aviation, ship and industrial gas-turbine engines.
The fundamental training allows them to work successfully in the other areas for design and service of:
- heating, water and gas supply engineering systems for settlements and buildings;
- refrigerating machines, ventilation systems and conditioners;
- compound internal combustion engines, power and compressor equipment;
- alternative energy sources and energy saving generation, ecology etc.
