Airplanes and Helicopters

The content of the program corresponds to the description of the major 134 "Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering" and the needs of the modern market of engineering personnel for aerospace and other high-tech and science-intensive industries in the world.

The purpose of the program is to train specialists who have fundamental knowledge, professional competencies and are able to correctly independently set and solve problems of scientific and practical activities in the field of aircraft and helicopter design.  This is ensured by high educational level in physics and mathematics, study of up-to-date materials science, classic and technical mechanics, etc. applying practical skills in the use of information technologies and study of CAD / CAM / CAE systems (Siemens NX, CATIA, ANSYS, COMPASS).

The educational program contains a large number of selective disciplines, which allows students not only to expand their competencies, knowledge, skills and abilities in the aerospace and modern engineering, but also to build their own learning plan and curriculum. Career-wise educational program prepares students for industrial and technical activity, whereas research-wise the educational program prepares students for innovative-scientific activity.

This allows them to find their prospective careers both in Ukraine and abroad.
