Energy Management and Energy Efficiency

In the process of studying in the major "Electric Power, Electrical Engineering and Electrical Mechanics" (educational program "Energy Management and Energy Efficiency") students acquire competencies in basic knowledge of scientific concepts, theories and methods necessary to understand the principles of operation and functional purpose of electrical engineering and electromechanical systems and their equipment, using modern methods of calculation, design and analysis of electric and electromechanical systems, as well as with environmental alternative and renewable energy management organizations with maintenance and repair of alternative and renewable energy sources, with a feasibility analysis of the effectiveness of scientific research in the field of alternative and renewable energy sources.

Students study disciplines that provide in-depth knowledge of modern power plants, electrical systems and networks, electrical power consumption systems, electromechanical automation systems and electric drive, electromechanical and control systems for production and distribution of electricity. The obtained thorough knowledge opens many professional opportunities for future specialists and allows them to easily find prospective career in the domestic and foreign labor market.
