The objects of activity of graduates of this specialty are mathematical, informational, simulation models of real phenomena, objects, systems and processes, subject areas, presentation of data and knowledge, methods and technologies of obtaining, storing, processing, transmitting and using information, intelligent data analysis and decision-making, theory, analysis, design, performance evaluation, algorithm implementation, high-performance computing, including parallel computing and big data, the processes of collecting, representing, processing, storing, transmitting, and accessing information in computer systems.
The purpose of training is to train specialists capable of conducting theoretical and experimental research in the field of computer science; apply mathematical methods and algorithmic principles in modeling, designing, developing and supporting information technologies; carry out the development, implementation and support of intellectual systems of data analysis and processing of organizational, technical, natural and socio-economic systems, acquiring the ability to solve problems of a research and/or innovative nature in the field of computer science, acquiring the ability to produce new ideas, develop to solve complex scientific and applied tasks and/or problems in the field of professional and/or research-innovative activity in the field of computer sciences, which involves a deep rethinking of the existing and creation of new holistic knowledge of professional practice.
