The Department of Applied Linguistics is located on the 4th floor of the main building of the university. All classrooms of the department (4 multimedia classrooms and a computer classroom combined into one multimedia laboratory) are located on the same and 3rd floors. All classrooms for conducting practical classes are equipped for the use of portable electronic devices and are equipped with a web camera, have a computer(s) and a TV. Computer and multimedia classrooms are combined into a single local network, which, in turn, has access to the university network and further to the World Wide Web. Classes with students are also held in the university's classrooms, which are also located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the University's main building. It is also convenient for students of the specialty that the hall of foreign literature with a large amount of literature in different languages is located on the same (4th) floor. Textbooks on grammar and conversational practice (English, German), English for business correspondence are also available in the department's methodical office. Usually, our students do not bring textbooks with them to class, because they can always be borrowed at the department or in the library.

The Department of Applied Linguistics has a laboratory of computer technologies and multimedia teaching tools for foreign languages and computer disciplines of the Department of Applied Linguistics.

The creation of the laboratory was aimed at summarizing the achievements of domestic and world practice in the field of applied linguistics; performance of practical tasks in order to improve the educational process carried out under the educational program "Applied Linguistics"; conducting a wide range of applied scientific research by student youth, with further implementation in the educational process. The laboratory provides a number of functions, among which educational and research functions are almost the most important:

1. Provision of educational and familiarization practices with students of the "Applied Linguistics" educational program.

2. Organization and operation of the system of computer testing of knowledge of students of the "Applied Linguistics" educational program: creation of an electronic system of tests as a basic simulator for testing knowledge, abilities and skills acquired during the study of educational disciplines of the professional cycle.

3. Using the capabilities of computer lexicography in compiling electronic narrow-field terminological reference dictionaries (including the aerospace industry) within the scope of lexicographic research.

4. Activation of the creative activity of the applicants through the use of computer and multimedia equipment of the Laboratory to perform creative and creative tasks.

Everything that the esteemed visitor can now get acquainted with has been researched and created by or with the participation of talented, creative students. Their own approach and creative component give the works of young authors a certain charm and attractiveness.
