The department of ecology and man-made safety is a graduation department with the specialty "101. Ecology", as well as the largest among related departments of aviation higher educational institutions of Ukraine.

Training programs meet international standards, employers' requests and trends in the development of modern technologies for the organization of environmentally safe functioning of enterprises and ensuring environmental control. The educational process is based on modern material support: laboratories with modern multimedia equipment, working samples of air and water purification devices, equipment for the disposal of hazardous substances. Students have the opportunity to do internships at leading enterprises and scientific research organizations of Ukraine, participate in Olympiads and conferences of various levels, and publish their works in scientific collections during their studies. The provided knowledge and skills make it possible to adapt the graduates to the practical tasks of today already at the stage of study and to ensure their decent employment.
