G12 Aerospace Engineering

Specialty G12 Aviation and Aerospace Engineering is a ticket to the club of those who overcome Earth's gravity. Today, an aerospace engineer is a Sky Architect and a Space Explorer who creates technologies ahead of their time. The objects of your activity will be supersonic airliners, reconnaissance drones, satellite constellations, and interplanetary spacecraft. This is a profession for those who are not afraid of heights and dream of leaving their mark in orbit.

The goal of training is to mold you into a "flight designer" capable of engineering systems that operate in the vacuum of space and scorching atmospheres. We will teach you how to calculate wing aerodynamics, design liquid- and solid-fuel rocket engines, and use composite nanomaterials to lightweight structures. This is the pinnacle of engineering thought. You will learn to turn complex formulas into engine power, becoming part of the team preparing humanity for life on other planets.

Your superpower: In a world where boundaries blur, you will possess Aerospace Intuition and Extreme Reliability Design—skills for creating machinery where failure is not an option. Your professional toolkit will include:

- Advanced Aerodynamics: modeling airflow around airframes at hypersonic speeds.

- Rocket Propulsion Engineering: designing thrust capable of putting tons of payload into geostationary orbit.

- Avionics & Control Systems: creating the "electronic brain" for automatic landing of reusable rocket stages.

- Space Mission Design: trajectory planning and life-support systems for long-duration space missions.

Our graduates are elite engineers at Yuzhnoye Design Office, specialists at world-class airlines, developers in aerospace startups (such as Firefly or SpaceX), and systems integrators for defense complexes, where the ability to achieve the impossible is highly valued.

Objects of activity for graduates include all types of aircraft and spacecraft; aviation and rocket engines; onboard equipment, as well as wind tunnel testing technologies and the operation of space communication assets.
