National Aerospace University «Kharkiv Aviation Institute»

Faculty of Aviation Engines

The Faculty of Aviation Engines is one of the core faculties of the National Aerospace University (KhAI). It was established together with the Kharkiv Aviation Institute in 1930. Over the years, the faculty has trained thousands of highly qualified specialists who have built successful careers at the most renowned enterprises in Ukraine, the EU, the USA, and other countries.

The faculty boasts the largest technical base in Ukraine, including computer labs and laboratory classrooms equipped with unique equipment; modern lecture courses developed in collaboration with leading companies; and a professional teaching staff – all of which ensure that students become top specialists in their field. Cooperation with international partners allows our students to gain additional higher education at the best universities in Europe and around the world, as well as internships at enterprises both domestically and abroad.

The faculty also provides opportunities for graduates to secure their first jobs at machine-building enterprises with which strong partnerships have been established, including: JSC “Motor-Sich,” JSC “Ivchenko-Progress,” SE KMZ “FED,” JSC “Ukrainian Energy Machines,” SE Malyshev Plant, JSC “Ukrtransgaz,” subsidiary companies of Boeing, Thales Alenia Space, and many others in Ukraine and abroad. Many of our graduates now hold managerial positions at these enterprises.
