151 Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies

According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1392 of December 16, 2022, the specialty 151 "Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies" will be called 174 "Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies and Robotics". Educational activity in the new specialty will begin on September 1, 2023.

The objects of activity of graduates of this specialty are technical, software, mathematical, information and organizational support of automation systems of objects and processes in various fields of activity using modern microprocessor and computer technology, specialized application software and information technologies; management objects and processes (technological processes, production, organizational structures), technical, informational, mathematical, software and organizational support of automation systems in various industries.

The purpose of training is to train specialists capable of comprehensively solving the problems of developing new and modernizing and operating existing automation systems and computer-integrated technologies using modern software and information technologies, performing theoretical research of the automation object, justifying the choice of automation technical means, design of automation systems and development of application software for various purposes and training of engineers and scientists capable of comprehensively solving complex tasks and problems of creation, improvement, modernization, operation and support of automation systems, their components, cyber-physical systems, digital transformation technologies that stand on the tasks of Industry 4.0, contribute to the process of rapid adaptation of products and services of enterprises and companies, and also ensure the transition from the physical world to the digital one.

Preparation is carried out at the departments:

- Department of aircraft engine production technology (department 204);

- Department of aircraft control systems (Department 301);

- Department of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering (Department 305)
