G6 Information and Measurement Technologies

Specialty G6 Information and Measurement Technologies is the art of converting the physical world into pure data. Today, a specialist in this field is a Data Acquisition Architect and a Smart Sensor Expert. You are the one who designs digital senses for robots, creates laser measurement systems for space, and develops "smart" sensors for medicine. The objects of your activity will be automated monitoring systems, non-destructive testing of materials, and intelligent devices that see what is hidden from the human eye.

The goal of training is to transform you into a "master of precision" capable of managing large data streams from the primary signal to cloud analytics. We will teach you computer vision, the development of embedded systems based on microcontrollers, and the creation of virtual instruments in the LabVIEW environment. This is the epicenter of Industrial IoT, where every micron and millisecond matters. You will learn to build systems that guarantee Tesla product quality, flight safety, and medical diagnostic accuracy, becoming a guarantor of truth in the digital world.

Your superpower: In a world where data is the new oil, you will possess Measurement Intelligence and Digital Calibration Mastery—skills for extracting useful information from the most complex noise. Your professional toolkit will include:

- Smart Sensors & IoT: designing wireless sensor networks that run for years on a single battery.

- Computer-Aided Measurement: creating software to automate experiments and testing.

- Quality Engineering & Standardization: quality management in compliance with international ISO standards.

- Signal Processing & Big Data: analyzing and interpreting gigabytes of real-time data.

Our graduates are leading quality engineers, automation specialists in the oil and gas sector, medical equipment developers at Philips, and environmental monitoring system architects, where the ability to measure the impossible is highly valued.

Objects of activity for bachelor's graduates include digital measuring instruments; computer vision and laser technology systems; metrological confirmation of measuring instruments; as well as information and control complexes for complex objects.

The training is carried out by:

- the Department of Intelligent Measurement Systems and Quality Engineering (303);

- the Graduate and Doctoral Studies Department.
