The objects of professional activity of graduates of this specialty include law as a social phenomenon and the features of its application, based on legal values and principles grounded in human dignity and the rule of law. The study of law and its sources is based on legal doctrines, values, and principles that are founded on human rights and fundamental freedoms.
The purpose of the program is to develop the ability to solve complex specialized tasks in the field of law with an understanding of the nature and content of its main legal institutions, as well as the limits of legal regulation of various social relations. Graduates are also expected to acquire the ability to solve complex tasks and problems in lawmaking and law enforcement and/or during the course of study, which may involve conducting research and/or implementing innovations under conditions characterized by uncertainty of requirements and circumstances.
Training is provided by the Department of Law (Department No. 702) and the Office of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies.
