Comments: The Erasmus+ program became the best experience of our lives. It was precisely what helped us become independent, acquire decision-making skills, and learn how to handle various situations. Just one semester abroad can drastically change life for the better. Here you make new acquaintances, learn “how else things can be,” practice English, and get the opportunity to return to a “normal life” that we currently don’t have back home. It was an unforgettable experience, but not without challenges. To start with, this program is not for everyone; unfortunately, not everyone can afford to have more than 1,000 euros for the initial living expenses in another country. It was an unpleasant surprise for us to learn that, due to some issue at the university, all students with Ukrainian bank accounts received their payouts a whole month later. No one gave exact dates, but we had to live on our own funds for a month and a half, including housing rent and deposits for it, which amounted to more than 1,000 euros per person.
The program itself was incredibly interesting and unique for us, because Sofiia had never studied offline before, and I had only studied part of the first semester back in 2021. It was a challenging experience because we had to learn a lot and get used to living abroad without anyone nearby, where you have to go to classes every day, often from 12:00 to 6:00-8:00 PM, and somehow manage to cook food, go grocery shopping, and generally allocate time to everything implied by the term “adult life.”
Riga Technical University was a great choice, as the university ranks among the top 1,000 universities in the world. Studies were interesting and intensive, and the university’s laboratories are equipped with all necessary and modern tools for various specialties, ranging from powerful computers to special robotic arms for factory automation, 3D printers, and server rooms. Almost every subject required passing an exam, which was very new to us but allowed us to test the acquired knowledge.
Riga itself is an incredibly comfortable city to live in and, moreover, very beautiful. There were plenty of different events; we managed to attend national holidays, socialization events, and a concert by the famous American band “Palaye Royale,” as well as various celebrations and performances. Besides Latvia itself, we also got the opportunity to visit other Baltic countries and Finland.

During my mobility, I managed to combine everything: high-quality studies, entertainment, travel, and complete immersion into the European student environment. You level up your skills, adapt to new challenges, become stronger, and all of this happens with the financial support of the European Union, which fully covers your needs. Do not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, use this chance to the maximum, as such journeys lay a powerful foundation for your future career and personal development.

Comments: Participating in the Erasmus+ mobility program seemed incredible to me, but reality surpassed any expectations. Studying at Turku University provided me with both practical skills regarding my future specialty and awareness of new areas for applying my acquired abilities in a multitude of fields, as well as the chance to understand how to find common ground with representatives of different nationalities. Working with various temperaments and mentalities is no longer something difficult and incomprehensible for me.
At Turku University, a significant amount of attention is paid to group and team work, which allows students to adapt to different roles and learn to interact with others, distributing duties and bearing responsibility not only for oneself but for the whole team.
Individual tasks, although they account for less than half of all assignments, are interesting, unusual, and useful. Everything offered to us by the professors improved my skills and was relevant to my specialty.
The university offers many diverse sports activities and physical exercises, and the students are open and inventive — student life is rich and vibrant. Almost every week, an event for students is held, and discounts are provided for attending usually paid events.
This program has become a very important experience for me and an impetus for the development of communication skills, open-mindedness, and adaptability. I met a large number of wonderful people and future professionals, and I have exclusively positive memories of the colorful atmosphere of Turku.

Comments: My participation in the Erasmus+ program at the University of Trento was an unforgettable experience that radically changed my perception of European humanities education. Studying at the Faculty of Philology and Cultural Studies impressed me with its deep approach to the study of modern languages, where the emphasis is placed on sociolinguistics, literary analysis, and intercultural communication.
The educational process at UniTrento requires a great deal of discipline, and exams are often held either in the form of a written essay or in an oral format. At the same time, professors are always open to discussion and supportive of student initiatives.
The university itself also provides all opportunities for language learning at the CLA language center, where I had the opportunity to improve my Italian language for free in a native speaker environment. Thanks to the modern BUC library, studying and preparing for exams are much more comfortable, as the building contains common areas, individual study rooms, and relaxation zones. In particular, the university offers many diverse sports clubs, so you can try rock climbing, a popular sport in the region, in a large sports complex.
The city of Trento itself is very cozy to live in — here you can see and experience the true Italian “dolce vita”. The convenient location of Trento makes it easy to travel to popular cities such as Verona, Venice, Riva del Garda, Bolzano, and Milan.
This program became a powerful trigger for the development of my communication skills, adaptability, and broadening of my horizons, leaving exclusively positive memories of the intellectual atmosphere of Trento.

Comments: Studying in Riga was an unforgettable experience for me. I can say with confidence that this was the best semester of my entire studies. Here I met many new friends from countries such as Brazil, Germany, Tunisia, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan. Together with them, I had a truly wonderful time and learned a lot of new facts about the culture of different nationalities.
I also visited many beautiful places in Latvia. I especially liked Jurmala in winter with its snow-covered beaches and occasional frozen waves. Besides Latvia, I also had the opportunity to visit Lithuania and Poland, which also expanded my awareness of the culture of these countries.
Moreover, here I had the opportunity to attend classes in person at the university, something that I unfortunately lacked a bit in Ukraine. The university is very modern and equipped with the latest technology, which enhanced the quality of education.
Overall, it is a very positive experience, and I am very glad that I participated in this program.

Comments: I had the opportunity to participate in the academic mobility program and spend the autumn-winter semester at the University of Trento. Studying at Unitrento was a valuable experience for me, as the educational process differs significantly from the usual format. Classes were well-structured, combining lectures and independent work. Significant attention was paid to analysis, discussion, and the practical application of theoretical knowledge, which is especially important for the “Applied Linguistics” specialty.
Assessment usually consisted of written and oral exams. This approach helped to deepen the understanding of the material and develop academic and communication skills. The professors were open to communication, always ready to explain complex topics, and provide academic guidance.
The university infrastructure left a positive impression: modern academic buildings, well-equipped libraries, comfortable spaces for independent study, and group work. The campus creates a convenient environment for learning and development, while the city of Trento combines an academic atmosphere with comfort and a rich cultural heritage.
Student life was intense and vibrant: the university organizes cultural events, meetings for international students, and various activities that promote integration and intercultural exchange. The mobility program allowed me not only to improve my language skills but also to gain valuable experience in communicating with representatives of different cultures.
Overall, participation in the academic mobility program at Unitrento was an important stage of my studies, contributed to my professional and personal development, and left very positive impressions.

Comments: The semester I spent in Finland left unforgettable impressions and experience. At first glance, the schedule system seemed strange, and it wasn't very clear why the indicated time differed slightly from the real one, but once you figure it out, you realize that everything is actually very convenient. The professors are mostly communicative and if any questions or problems arose, they gladly explained everything. It was also a good opportunity to practice English with different people and learn to understand difficult accents, which I think is very cool. Student life also didn't let me get bored; during the time spent here, I managed to attend many diverse student celebrations and even visited Stockholm, Sweden, during one of the university trips.
Overall, the experience of studying at Turku University left only positive impressions and, as it seems to me, was very beneficial for me.

Comments: This mobility was a wonderful experience for me. I discovered Turkish culture and met many new people from different countries. First and foremost, our trio with other Erasmus program students will be especially memorable: Edi from Spain and my friend from KhAI, Amil.
Also, a large part of this experience was made possible thanks to the ESN organization - Erasmus Student Network, which organized many various events for us. Thanks to it, I visited many new places, including Chanakale - the place where the modern Turkish Republic was born.
The university campus is quite modern and stylish - reminding me of campuses from American movies. It is located on a mountain, so you need to get used to that. On its territory, there is a cafeteria, football and volleyball fields, a library, and even a small square with restaurants.
Special attention should be paid to the housing issue — this was the only significant downside I encountered. Due to the short duration of our stay and financial difficulties of the university, we were unable to live in the university dormitory, so we were forced to look for accommodation on our own.
Overall, the learning experience was extraordinary and interesting. Türkiye is a wonderful country. I will definitely return there once more.

Comments: My experience of participating in the Erasmus+ program in Riga, which lasted from February to the end of June of this year at Riga Technical University, was truly incredible and unforgettable. During this time, I met many international students and I was lucky to make friends from Japan, Korea, Spain, and Libya, as well as acquaintances from other countries. This gave me the opportunity not only to improve my English but also to learn more about different cultures and traditions of the world.
Outside of studies, I actively traveled. In my free time, I visited Krakow, Tallinn, and Vilnius, which became a separate wonderful experience. However, Latvia itself left no fewer impressions. I traveled a lot around the country and Jurmala with its beaches and holiday atmosphere, as well as Sigulda with its beautiful nature and castles, were particularly memorable.
Overall, this semester was not only a time of studying for me but also a period of discoveries, new acquaintances, and adventures. I am grateful to the Erasmus+ program for such an opportunity, as this experience significantly expanded my horizons and gave me memories that will stay with me forever.

Comments: My experience of studying under the Erasmus+ program in Trento became extremely valuable and significant for both my professional development and personal growth. The program opened up new horizons for me and allowed me to look at studies and my future profession from a broader perspective.
The university professors were always ready for dialogue, explained complex topics clearly and understandably, and showed a genuine interest in ensuring that every student mastered the material. Separately, it is worth noting the practice of inviting external speakers — representatives of various companies, organizations, and projects. This was extremely useful, as it allowed us to hear real-life examples of applying knowledge in professional activities, get acquainted with current research and modern trends, and form a more comprehensive understanding of how theory combines with practice.
In addition to the academic component, Erasmus+ became an important social and cultural experience. I had the opportunity to meet students from different countries in Europe and around the world, exchange views and experiences, and learn more about their cultures and traditions.
Life in Trento itself left warm memories. This city combines the peace and comfort of a small Italian town with the dynamics of an active student environment. The atmosphere of friendliness, safety, and openness made staying there truly comfortable. Moreover, the location of the city among the picturesque Alps created a unique opportunity to relax in nature, travel around the region, and discover new places.
Participation in the Erasmus+ program in Trento was a unique opportunity for me not only to improve my academic skills but also to broaden my horizons, gain valuable international experience, and open up new opportunities for my future professional career. This experience gave a new boost to my development and formed the basis for further achievements.

Comments: I had a wonderful opportunity to spend the spring semester in Lisbon. The educational process at NOVA FCT university differed from what I was used to. Classes lasted about 2 hours, and due to overlapping schedules, it was absolutely normal to sometimes arrive late or leave early. Assessment mostly consisted of several tests and group projects, which, in my opinion, is very convenient: you can combine individual preparation with teamwork. The professors were always open to communication, explained the material, and gave advice for projects.
The campus left an extremely pleasant impression. On its territory, there is a library with separate rooms for individual and group work, modern laboratories, a gym, recreation zones, several cafes, canteens, and even a supermarket – very convenient for student life. Also, there are many clubs and sports groups at the university, so finding an activity to your liking is not a problem.
Student life in Lisbon was active and diverse: the university organizes parties, Churrasco barbecues, and cultural events that make it easy to meet new people. I also had the opportunity to travel around the country and visit Porto, Cascais, and Sintra.
Overall, the experience of studying and staying in Portugal was extremely interesting, useful, and left very positive impressions.

Comments: When applying for the mobility program, first of all, I applied with the thought in my head that I would be able to meet a classmate and then maybe somehow start communicating more and finding common interests. This did not happen, but I was still able to pass the mobility program selection and do not regret it at all. When I arrived in Finland at my dormitory, the most difficult task for me was to find it, because some addresses were repeated and sometimes they led to a slightly different place; other than that, there was nothing difficult. Before the start of studies, I managed to visit Helsinki and attend an exchange students' meeting, where I was able to meet many interesting people and make friends at the university. In the beginning, it was a bit difficult to figure out how everything works, but later I found a few friends who helped me figure out all the subjects and gave a more detailed tour of the university and the campus. The studying was not so hard, compared to KhAI, it was generally easy, you could visit the university when you needed to, there are few classes a day if there are any at all, some courses are even graded with a good mark if you just attend them, homework was done in a few hours and there was still plenty of free time left, which I spent traveling to neighboring cities and around the archipelagos. During the study period, there was also a week of vacation, during which I was able to visit my friend and visit another country - Sweden.
The professors at the university are kind and understanding, you just need to talk to them, they will always help you find your mistake, chat about the lecture topic, or help solve a practical task.

Comments: The training program was very intense – we delivered presentations on the topics “International Collaboration: Best Practices for Universities” and ”Best practices and challenges of management, welcome services and mobility activities”, listened to lectures on the application of AI in education and innovative methods of curriculum development and educational management, spoke personally with the coordinator of our joint project – Dr. Nurbanu Bulgur, and had plenty of time for networking. Sakarya University structured the program of events so that we could even start working on creating a joint project in the field of capacity building for document workflow digitalization in education. We are especially grateful to our partners for organizing a meeting with students from other universities of Ukraine who are currently undergoing mobility at Sakarya University. We had the opportunity to discuss organizational nuances, get useful recommendations regarding housing and stay, and see with our own eyes what a sincere and supportive community is here.

Comments: I underwent training at the International Staff Week organized by the NOVA University Lisbon, where everyone had the opportunity to attend various lectures and participate in workshops throughout the week. Excursions to different campuses of NOVA University located in different parts of the city were also organized. The week was organized very meticulously, with 2-3 lectures and a workshop every day, assembled under a specific theme related to the activities of international office staff. Representatives of NOVA University were very friendly and helped the participants with all questions and organizational matters. Overall, the training was very interesting and contained useful information for future use in work, both in the process of recruiting international students and in developing cooperation with foreign partners. Upon completion, all participants received certificates of attendance. During this week, I also had the opportunity to meet many colleagues from other countries, talk, mutually share experiences, and agree on maintaining further contacts for the development of cooperation.

The internship helped me get acquainted with lecturers and specialists sharing a common scientific field, which made it possible to discuss potential future joint projects. This is also a good opportunity for the development and practice of communication in English, which in turn improved international communication skills and contributed to finding new directions for development.

Comments: The internship included attending classes, getting acquainted with the university, meetings with the administration, faculty, and students of the university, and conducting educational classes on the topic I proposed for master's students in economic disciplines. The host university focuses on making a significant contribution to the development of science and technology through research activities. This state educational institution was founded in 2011, and currently comprises 15 faculties, 1 college, 1 state conservatory, 4 vocational schools, 5 institutes, and 27 applied and research centers.
I was impressed by the breadth of the fields offered at the university and the use of a foreign (English) language in the educational process.
The university offers a wide range of undergraduate programs in the fields of “Medicine”, “Dentistry”, “Law”, “Architecture and Fine Arts”, “Political Science”, “Humanities and Social Sciences”, “Business Administration” and "Aviation and Space Sciences", "Health Sciences", "Islamic Sciences", "Sports Sciences", faculties of applied sciences, and the Turkish State Conservatory of Music; it implements training under the associate degree program at the Technical Vocational School, Vocational School of Health Services, and Vocational School of Social Sciences.
At the university, 100% English-medium instruction is carried out at the faculties of medicine, engineering, architecture, aviation and space sciences, political sciences, and business administration, as well as in the psychology program of the faculty of humanities and social sciences.
The program in history of humanities and social sciences, and legal sciences continues to provide 30% of instruction in English.
In addition to undergraduate studies, master's and doctoral programs with and without thesis defense are also offered at all faculties. This educational institution, which has positioned itself as a research university since its foundation, has many postgraduate programs and numerous national and international projects.
Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Üniversitesi has an international status thanks to approximately 11% of international students (about 2,500 students from 109 countries), bilateral agreements with 203 international universities, exchange programs for students, faculty, and administrative staff, joint degree programs, and a large number of foreign lecturers. It ranks first among Turkish universities by the number of international undergraduate students.
Considering the necessity for persons obtaining higher education to speak at least one foreign language at an advanced level, foreign language teaching for students is conducted in such a way that gives them a great advantage in future employment. Comments: My trip to the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business under the Erasmus+ program was an incredible experience. The university's scheduled events during the week of my arrival included attending lectures and seminars of the host university's lecturers, tours of the university's educational and research centers, educational classes on the topic I proposed, excursions to ancient places, and getting acquainted with the local culture. The university impressed me with its high level of organization, the friendliness of the professors, and its modern infrastructure. For example, the main library of the university features glass boxes, similar to a student's personal office, for preparing for classes and exams. The classes were interactive, and the teaching approach was practically oriented, allowing for a deeper understanding of economic processes. The atmosphere at the university contributed to making new acquaintances and professional development. Wroclaw is a wonderful city with a rich history that complemented my impressions. This trip opened up new perspectives for me, and I recommend everyone to take advantage of the opportunity for academic mobility and international cooperation.

Comments: I studied for half a year in Finland, in the city of Turku. At first, studying was quite difficult because I wasn't used to always communicating in English, but after about a month, everything became very easy.
During this time, we met many people of other nationalities, but almost all the time we communicated only with the Japanese; they are the sweetest and kindest people I have ever met.
During the autumn holidays, which were from October 12 to October 20, we decided to travel a bit around different countries. We planned a route and set off first to Sweden, to Stockholm, on a cruise ship; after that, we flew to Estonia, to Tallinn, and then returned to Finland by ship.
In Finland, I was finally able to see my friend with whom I grew up. Due to the war, she had to leave for the Czech Republic without the possibility of returning home (therefore, I believe that for me, studying abroad was not only an opportunity to try myself as a student, but it was an opportunity for me to see the person most precious to me).
In Finland, we always went to various museums, libraries, and other places. On weekends, we often traveled to different cities in Finland, such as Salo or Helsinki.
For the first time, I celebrated my birthday in another country with new friends, with whom I continue to keep in touch.
As soon as the war is over, at least six of our friends will come to visit us, and in the meantime, maybe somehow we will be able to visit them in Japan as well.

Comments: University of Trento is a relatively young university, but despite its age, it has already become one of the leading universities in Italy.
Theoretical courses at the University of Trento have a classical lecture format and take one semester, similar to the KhAI curriculum. The material is presented in a structured manner, using various teaching techniques: lectures, slides, quiz tests, recommended literature, discussions among students, and projects. The entire program is full of real-world examples and demonstrations of how the acquired knowledge can be applied. Classes are held in classrooms, but some have video recordings available on the platform.
Each lecturer is a professional in their field and an engaged teacher whom you can always approach with a question. They share current scientific events and research and create an atmosphere of academic unity.
From the recommendations of fellow students, I learned that practical courses mostly encourage group project work as a form of teaching and knowledge assessment. Such activities develop teamwork skills and demonstrate the utility of the information obtained.
Due to its gradual expansion, the University of Trento has several buildings in the city center and its outskirts. The buildings of the faculties of engineering, mathematics, biology, and computer science are located in the suburbs. However, they possess all the necessary modern infrastructure within and around them: classrooms, computer labs, canteens, a library, study spaces, and separate offices for group work.
The residents of Italy, and Trento in particular, are incredibly positive and welcoming people. Trento is located on the border between Italy and Austria, which has created a unique blend of cultures. One of the features of cultural life is the famous Christmas markets. The mountainous terrain of the region is breathtaking with its views. Hiking along the slopes of the Alps is simply a must-do activity.
The Erasmus Student Network regularly organizes cultural and social events. Attending them will not disappoint: interesting people and unexpected events.
This program gave me unique experience and knowledge, so I can highly recommend the University of Trento for those participating in the Erasmus program.

Comments: Turku University is a wonderful place for self-development and learning. Teachers facilitate learning and help with all emerging problems. The dean's office of the university is interested in the success of students, so the TUAS university buildings themselves are very comfortable and easy to use.
During my mobility, to complete some courses, we were tasked with developing and implementing a project. Throughout the semester, teachers delivered the material and conducted practical classes, which in total provided all the necessary knowledge to complete the project and write the final exam.
The city of Turku itself felt very cozy and even very similar to Kharkiv. Living in the city of Turku and studying at TUAS greatly contributes to the development of social and cultural knowledge, meeting different people, nations, countries, and more.

Comments: This semester I had a wonderful opportunity to experience European education firsthand. Riga Technical University provided me with an immense number of opportunities for both professional and cultural development. All courses featured modern curricula, and the teaching staff was highly professional.
During the exchange program, I had the opportunity to communicate with representatives of a wide variety of cultures, since students from all over the world study at RTU, which allowed me to significantly improve my communication skills, especially in English.
Also, Latvia is a very beautiful country. Even if it is not the wealthiest country in the EU, it stands out for its extraordinary nature, forests, and friendly people.
I am grateful to KhAI and RTU for such a wonderful opportunity, thanks to which I now have an unforgettable lifelong experience.

Comments: Last semester I had the honor of going to study at Riga Technical University. This experience is unforgettable and relevant for me. RTU is a great place to study, but it also has its downsides.
First of all, the positive aspects of studying at RTU should be mentioned. The university is well-equipped with everything necessary for studying and light relaxation between classes. Most professors encourage group work, which makes students more cohesive and more open to cooperation in the future. Almost all laboratory and practical classes were conducted in groups, which made it easy to distribute the work according to the volume and skills of the team members.
The university itself is located in the city center, so getting to it did not create any problems. All buildings except one are located on an island in the center of the city, making moving between classrooms between classes easier.
The study program is somewhat different from KhAI, as it covers subjects that can be useful not only in a narrow specialization. In my opinion, a negative aspect of this program is that it is too generalized. Unfortunately, there are subjects here that were almost identical but named differently. It was easier to study in these subjects, but it was also impossible to gain new information.
Unfortunately, at RTU, according to the Computer Science curriculum, most classes were conducted online due to the large volume of students in the stream. I want to note that this coincidence happened only to me. Most local acquaintances had most of their classes in person.
Also, the schedule at RTU is quite unconventional. On one day there may be several classes in a row, and on another day there may be one class in the morning and another late in the evening.
Overall, this university gave me an unforgettable valuable experience and knowledge that will be useful to me in the further building of my own career and life.

Comments: Last semester I had the opportunity to study at Turku University of Applied Sciences and this experience was incredible. The university is an excellent place for academic development and personal growth.
Firstly, the infrastructure at TUAS is modern and comfortable. It features spacious classrooms and numerous areas for both individual and group work, creating an ideal environment for studying.
The educational program at TUAS is distinguished by its practical approach. There is a strong focus on practical projects and assignments, which not only deepen your knowledge but also allow you to apply it effectively. Additionally, the professors are always ready to provide support and assistance, which is crucial for successful learning.
Moreover, most assignments are completed in groups. This not only fosters communication and teamwork skills but also provides opportunities to meet other students.
Equally important is the university's convenient location in Turku, which is very pleasant for both living and studying. Personally, its atmosphere strongly reminded me of Kharkiv. That was a delightful surprise.
Visiting museums, exploring the city and enjoying Finnish nature left unforgettable impressions on me. Turku turned out to be a fantastic place for both studying and living, so I sincerely recommend this university to anyone looking to participate in an exchange program.

Comments: ADANA ALPARSLAN TURKES SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY (ATU), based in the metropolitan city of Adana, aims to quality the global leaders of tomorrow. ATU wants to educate students who are open-minded, who appreciate intercultural differences, who possess global awareness and who are responsible for sustainably developing and enhancing their community, the society as well as the World. ATU strives to include national and international researchers and professionals into its research activities to value-addingly contribute to the advancement of knowledge, improving the World for everyone and future generation.
International Relation Office of ATU has organized an interesting and rich Training Staff Mobility Program. The meetings were attended by academic staff from various universities such as BSU (Azerbaijan), ZAWIA (Libya), LPNU (Ukraine), KhAI (Ukraine). Academic staff reported on the educational, scientific and international activities of their universities. After delivering reports, the following issues were discussed - the main directions of scientific research, the expansion of international cooperation between universities and the application of progressive teaching methods.
Meetings were held with researchers and students of such units of the university - Department of Materials Science and Engineering and Department of Aerospace Engineering. We also visited the laboratories of the university, which are equipped with modern equipment and where communication took place with students and teachers. The main topics for discussion were - modern materials that are used in the production of aircraft, features of the design and manufacturing of composite structures, methods of determination characteristics of materials and finished products. Students talked about the areas of scientific research, demonstrated the different types of unmanned aerial vehicles they had made, and tested a self-balancing drone.
It should be noted that the academic staff of the university were interested in news about the situation in Ukraine and expressed support for our university and the entire country.
Thus, the Staff Mobility Program will contribute to the application of modern teaching methods and the expansion of the field of scientific research.

Comments: During my internship at the ADANA ALPARSLAN TURKES BILIM VE TEKNOLOJI UNIVERSITESI there were scientists from technical universities from Azerbaijan, Syria and Ukraine, who also used the Eramus + program. The event was prepared in such a way that each group of scientists presented their university and department. This made it possible to discuss the features of teaching and research not only with colleagues from the University of Adana. Two days were devoted to work in related departments and laboratories. Several meetings were organized with staff and students of the Department of Rocket Science. My experience and recommendations have allowed them to rethink the methods of manufacturing light aircraft from composites. I also participated in testing a self-balancing drone developed by students of the laboratory. The most valuable for me was the discussion of the problem of online learning and the preparation of attractive practical material for students. In addition, the actual difficulty is the involvement of students in research and engineering activities. In the discussions, suitable methods were found to solve these problems. This internship made it possible to compare educational systems, make sure that the chosen topics for study are correct and focus on modern methods of presenting information.

Comments: ADANA ALPARSLAN TURKES SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY is a really young university, which is developing rapidly and, literally, is being developed right now: some of the buildings have already been put into operation, and some are still under construction. But, regardless of this, the faculty, which I visited during my internship, has already allocated premises for student and research laboratories.
During this time, I had the opportunity to communicate both with teachers and faculty management, and with students. A really wide range of issues were discussed with the teachers: from online, offline and hybrid teaching methods to a comparison of the social status of teachers in Ukraine and Turkey, from various methods of designing aircraft to promising areas of scientific and research cooperation. Communication with students was also fruitful and interesting. Among other things, they demonstrated self-made unmanned aerial vehicles and a light rocket. In this case, it was the high level of funding of student projects that impressed me.
As for the city of Adana, in which the University is located, it is quite an interesting, very lively, contrasting city. I would especially like to note the kindness of local residents, who sincerely tried to help tourists who do not know their way around the city, despite the fact that no one there speaks either English or Ukrainian.

Comments: During staying in Adana Alparslan Tukes Science and Technology University (Türkiye), Head of Dept 104 Associate Professor Maiorova Kateryna have attended several departments of Adana Aerospace engineering faculty.
Turkey is a warm and energetic country that combines many cultures from Syria, Iraq, Georgia, etc. Almost none of them know English, but you can communicate with them by gestures and everyone tries to help you. Currently, Turkey is recovering from the earthquake and therefore studies are conducted in a blended format, but more online. The teachers work at their workplaces in the university and have all the equipment for this. Each professor has a personal office. By agreement with the group, the class can be completed offline.
The university ATU is new and not fully rebuilt (two buildings are under construction). The situation is the same with laboratories that need to be equipped with models and equipment. However, this situation did not prevent the implementation of the internship and the exchange of experience among the teaching staff. In particular, a tour of the department's laboratories was organized: the production of rocket carriers, drones and unmanned aerial vehicles. A modern catapult is shown.
Students of Adana Aerospace engineering faculty were given lectures on the technology of manufacturing aircraft parts based on reverse engineering. Based on the results of the visit, directions for further cooperation in education and science were determined.

Comments: During staying in West-Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin (Poland), Head of Dept 504 Professor Volodymyr Lukin and Associate Professor Sergiy Abramov have attended several departments of Electrotechnical Faculty.
In particular, an excursion has been organized for several auditoria of Dept of Signal Processing and Multimedia Engineering. Modern studio for multichannel sound processing has been shown.
In the Center of electromagnetic wave engineering and microwave technologies, the laboratory of microwave measurements for studying electromagnetic compatibility has been visited.
Our tutors have given several lectures on digital processing of multichannel remote sensing images to Polish students. As the result of the visit, directions of further cooperation in education and science have been outlined.

Comments: Istanbul Technical University is the best engineering university in the Republic of Turkey and the third oldest engineering university in the world.
Every autumn and spring, KhAI International Relations Department conducts competitive selection of candidates for studying under Erasmus+ mobility program. For participation at the program, you must have a good English knowledge, be a diligent student and have the motivation to learn.
After I was selected as a finalist, it was necessary to sign some documents, select classes that will be studied in Istanbul and pack luggage. All documents were signed fairly quickly, almost all classes were same with classes at KhAI, and those that didn't match, my department allowed to re-pass.
At ITU, I immediately noticed for myself that studying abroad is different from ours. They don't have common groups for each major and if you don't attend classes or cheating on exams you might get kicked from the university. Students don't have much time for partying and stuff, there is a lot of homework in engineering majors, but it's still worth it.
In general, studying at Istanbul Technical University is very different from studying at KhAI. and is more similar to the American system. I've noticed many things both about the university and student life, and Turkey itself with its beautiful culture and nature. But for a story about everything one comment isn't enough. However, I'm always available for all of the questions about studying in Turkey. Set your goals, don't give up, and you'll certainly succeed.

Comments: University of Trento gives a huge amount of opportunities for your academic and professional career. University staff and facilities are awesome and any exchange student is going to have everything to feel comfortable to reach their goals.
Apart from the University it’s hard to omit the fact that an upcoming student will for sure fall in love with the beauty of Sudtirol and South of Italy. What can be better than seeing Italian Alps from the window of your classroom or make a short break and visit Innsbruck or Venice on a weekend? The region has perfect location, culture, history and places to see that you will find hard to visit all during only one Erasmus period.

All professors are so responsive and high qualified. They are ready to share their knowledge. Certainly, possibility to travel around Europe is pleasant bonus for each student. So, it was amazing experience, which is able to broaden the horizons.

Comments: Erasmus in Trento is the best thing that could have happened to me. These 5 months were extremely interesting, full of events and trips around Italy.
I really enjoyed my stay in Trento. University provides students with comfortable accommodations and free circulation pass. Staff of International Mobility Office is very attentive and helpful. One should note here that it is necessary to know that you have someone to turn to for help while being in a foreign country.
Education level and standards of teaching at the University are undoubtedly very high.
As for me, probably, the most important aspect among all was meeting new people from all over the world. I had neighbors from Italy, Mexico, India, Philippines, Brazil etc. The atmosphere in our block was cozy, friendly and multicultural. We often had parties or made dinners together.

Comments: I was an exchange student at Istanbul Technical University, for one semester and the experience was simply fabulous.
Everything about ITU was different from my home university and I made the most of this opportunity by taking some really cool classes and working alongside some excellent professors.
Also, a good thing to note is that the campus is huge and a little bit isolated and it was not in the heart of the city center. They have their own gym in the common area, study rooms, libraries, and some canteens that have good quality food, for very low prices. I felt that Turks in general and the campus community in specific are very welcoming and friendly, which helped me to feel at home very quickly.
Istanbul is a perfect city for student life, there is no way to get bored, it offers so many places and attractions you can visit and nicely spend your free time. Although Istanbul is considered to be a Turkish/Asian city it is actually really European. I spent about four months there but I still didn’t have time to visit everything on my sightseeing list. Also worth mentioning that my student ticket allowed me to save lots of money with student discounts for different tourist sights which is very nice.
Being an exchange student has been an important chapter of my life. It is something that you would definitely not want to miss as a part of your university life. I am very glad that I took part in the program and I would like to say a big thank you to the International Relations Office of both Universities and program Erasmus.

Comments: Before studying in Turkey under the Erasmus+ student exchange programme, I submitted documents to the MITACS Globalink Reserach Internship, which I found on the KhAI International Relations Department page on Facebook. And in the summer, after finishing with Istanbul Technical University I successfully flew to Canada. First of all, I want to talk about the process of submitting documents.
The submission wasn't difficult, but the search for projects was. There are a lot of projects you can apply if you're an engineer. But during the search I came across with a topic related to my research at KhAI. That was the thing, I chose the topic as my first priority and then had more sureness that I'll be accepted.
After an hour-long interview with the host professor, I was accepted into a program with a topic related to plasma technology. A week later, another professor from different university with my second priority topic called me, but conversation with him lasted only about 15 minutes. I told him that I had been already accepted with different professor. We wished each other good luck and never talked again.
I've been with plasma technologies since the end of the first year of studying at KhAI. This is a narrow topic and I didn't expect that I'd find something similar from MITACS. The Canadian professor, by the way, knows the head of plasma laboratory at KhAI by his articles, which came as a surprise to me. The world is small!
I hope that the internship in Canada will bring not only a good point for a future career, but also future cooperation between UofS and KhAI in terms of electric rocket engines.
