Project goal and objectives:
The main goal of the project is to train a new generation of engineering and research personnel capable of ensuring constructive development in cybersecurity assessment and management. Realizing this goal will help address Ukrainian society's need to respond to cybersecurity challenges in various application domains. These domains will be covered by developed curricula for Master's, doctoral (PhD), and professional development training for industry representatives.
Project objectives:
- modernize the cybersecurity and resilience Master's program; modernize the cybersecurity and resilience doctoral (PhD) program;
- develop a professional development program in cybersecurity and resilience comprising 3 modules;
- establish the National Alliance for Information Security for training and advisory activities in cybersecurity assessment and management;
- implement a comprehensive capacity-building scheme for participating academic staff across 7 Ukrainian universities.
Project activity areas:
- development of Master's degree programs in cybersecurity and resilience;
- development of doctoral (PhD) degree programs in cybersecurity and resilience;
- creation of the National Alliance for Information Security;
- improvement of English language proficiency among partnership members;
- implementation of a capacity-building scheme for 7 Ukrainian higher education institutions;
- internal dissemination activities for the project.
Achieved results:
1. Developed and successfully launched 5 courses for the Master's program in cybersecurity and resilience.
2. Developed and effectively operating 3 courses for the doctoral (PhD) program in cybersecurity and resilience.
3. Developed a professional development program in cybersecurity and resilience.
4. Created the National Alliance for Information Security and provided consultations in cybersecurity assessment and management.
5. Implemented a capacity-building scheme for participating academic staff from 7 Ukrainian universities.
