Mercatorum University

Mercatorum University in Rome is a unique institution, established through the initiative of the Italian Chambers of Commerce. It is Italy's leading online university, which in 2026 actively combines remote digital technologies with opportunities for in-person academic mobility.

Mercatorum specializes in economics, management, IT, and engineering with a strong focus on entrepreneurship.

In 2026, the university is participating in short-term mobility programs (Blended Intensive Programmes — BIP), which are ideal for students who cannot commit to a full-semester stay abroad.

Instruction is conducted remotely via the platform and in Italian! Even though the university is distance-based, you are still required to travel to Rome for your studies!

The funding decision is made only after the student's application has been reviewed by the partner university. Before registering, you must familiarize yourself with the available courses offered by the universities. If your specialty is not available, you cannot participate in the program.

The first stage is English language testing; based on the results, successful candidates will be recommended for the mobility program.
