The Licensing and Accreditation Group is a structural unit of the Department of Education Quality, Analytics, and Academic-Methodological Support within the Center for Education Quality, Licensing and Accreditation of the National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute.” The Group facilitates the initiation of educational activities for academic programs and is responsible for organizing, supporting, and coordinating the processes of obtaining licenses and accreditation of educational programs. It develops methodological guidelines and provides консультації to academic program guarantors, departments, and faculties regarding compliance with Licensing Conditions, standards, and state-established requirements. The Group also prepares materials for inspections to confirm the quality of educational activities and the right to conduct the educational process.
Main tasks of the Licensing and Accreditation Group:
LICENSING PROCEDURE – initiation (or expansion) of educational activities at the relevant level of higher education or within an educational program предусматривающей the awarding of a professional qualification in regulated professions at the corresponding level of higher education at the University.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM ACCREDITATION PROCEDURE – organization and coordination of activities related to the accreditation of educational programs under which higher education applicants are trained at the University.
QUALITY CONTROL – monitoring and internal audit of educational programs as a tool for ensuring the quality of higher education at the University.
INFORMATION SUPPORT – preparation of methodological, informational, and analytical materials on licensing and accreditation issues.
