The objects of professional activity of graduates of this specialty include the legislation of Ukraine regulating the activities of law enforcement agencies; international and national standards for the protection of human rights and freedoms, and maintenance of law and order; principles of interaction with the public based on partnership; fundamentals of anti-corruption measures; rules and grounds for the use of special equipment, special, operational, and operational-technical tools, information retrieval systems, and databases; conducting operational and investigative activities, countering the activities of illegal paramilitary or armed groups, organized criminal groups, and illegal migration; combating terrorism; implementing state policy in the field of cybersecurity of government information resources and information; comprehensive issues of ensuring public safety and order, protecting human rights and freedoms, as well as the interests of society and the state, countering crime, and providing police services.
The purpose of the program is to train highly qualified specialists in law enforcement who are capable of solving complex specialized tasks and practical problems in law enforcement characterized by complexity and uncertainty, and to prepare specialists able to identify and solve complex tasks and problems in the field of law enforcement or during training, which involves conducting research and/or implementing innovations under conditions of uncertainty.
