Educational Program “Information Technologies”

The "Information Technology" Educational and Scientific Program (PhD) is the intellectual command center for Advanced Data Science & System Engineering. Doctoral studies here offer a space for a Technology Visionary & Principal Researcher. Your mission is to develop new intelligent analysis methods, create theories for distributed computing, and provide scientific substantiation for future artificial intelligence architectures. Your scope of activity will encompass high-load cloud ecosystems, formal verification methods for complex systems, and intelligent multimodal data processing technologies.

The goal of study is to cultivate a Principal Investigator (PI) or Head of R&D capable of leading global digital transformations and research directions in BigTech corporations (Google AI, Microsoft Research, Amazon Web Services). We will teach you scientific research methodologies in IT, complex systems theory, and the development of breakthrough information storage and transmission technologies. This is the highest level of Computational Intelligence, where a scientific hypothesis transforms into an industry standard. You will learn to design systems with maximum adaptability and security, becoming an architect of the global information society.

Your scientific superpower: You will develop Strategic Technological Vision and Structural Synthesis Mastery—the ability to look beyond code to fundamental patterns and create methodologies that overcome the limitations of modern computing power. Your PhD arsenal will include:

- Advanced Machine Learning Theory: developing new mathematical neural network training methods with guaranteed convergence and interpretability.

- Cloud & Distributed Architecture Research: designing fault-tolerant systems for real-time Big Data processing.

- Cybersecurity Intelligence: creating new defense protocols and anomaly detection methods in complex networks.

- IoT & Edge Computing Systems: developing technologies for intelligent management of sensor networks and smart cities.

Our Doctors of Philosophy are Senior Research Scientists, heads of digital transformation departments in government and international organizations, authors of patents for key IT algorithms, and professors shaping future educational standards.

Objects of professional activity for PhD students include the development of new information technologies, scientific substantiation of knowledge representation models, optimization methods for complex systems, and strategic management of big data infrastructure.
