Project goal and objectives:
The goal of the project is to create a unified, vertically integrated complex system for the innovative development of the ecosystem technosphere with a full cycle (study – research – production – operation/maintenance – disposal), enabling a fundamentally new approach to environmental safety planning for all technosphere objects at all life-cycle stages. Synergistic effects are to be achieved through the outcomes of Tempus projects in green technologies and innovation support: 159359-ES-JPHES UNI4INNO (Fostering the Knowledge Triangle in Higher Education Institutions in Ukraine), 530270-UK-JPCR GREENCO ("Green" Computing and Communications), 516911-DE-JPCR REGENLAW (Development of Regional Interdisciplinary Post-Graduate Studies in Energy and Environmental Law), etc.
Project objectives:
- creation of an international network of Centers of Innovation in Ecosystems Technosphere (CIDECS) in Ukraine;
- development of an international CIDECS web portal for the development and commercialization of eco-innovation projects, integrating the platform with Tempus project networks;
- development of a new comprehensive Master's program (6 core modules) for the specialty "Micro- and Nanotechnologies in Ecosystem Technosphere" for 6 partner universities in Ukraine;
- development of a professional development / advanced training program (4 modules) in eco-engineering.
Project activity areas:
- establishment of CIDECS centers;
- verification of CIDECS centers;
- professional development for center staff;
- development of the CIDECS web platform;
- establishment of core teams;
- English language skill improvement for project team members;
- development and implementation of a new comprehensive Master's program (6 core modules) for the specialty "Micro- and Nanotechnologies in Ecosystem Technosphere" for 6 partner universities in Ukraine;
- development and implementation of a professional development program (4 modules) in eco-engineering;
- dissemination of project information and networking collaboration;
- "on-demand" professional development trainings for four ISMs.
Achieved results:
1. CIDECS centers established and operating effectively together with the web platform.
2. Introduced a new integrated Master's program in "Micro- and Nanotechnologies in Ecosystem Technosphere" for 6 partner universities in Ukraine.
3. Implemented a professional development program (4 modules) in eco-engineering.
4. Disseminated project results.
