The objects of study for students of this specialty include mental phenomena and the patterns of their emergence, functioning, and development; behavior, activities, and actions; human interaction in small and large social groups; and psychophysiological processes and mechanisms underlying various forms of mental activity.
The purpose of the program is to train specialists capable of solving complex tasks and practical problems during their studies and professional activity in the field of psychology. This involves conducting scientific and project-based research and/or implementing innovations under conditions characterized by uncertainty of requirements and circumstances. The program also emphasizes the conduct of professional activity in accordance with universal human values and the professional ethics of psychologists, the development of scientific understanding of the nature of the psyche, methods, and results of studying mental phenomena, and the ability to apply psychological knowledge effectively in professional practice.
