Specialty B13 Library, Information, and Archival Studies is not about dusty shelves, but about managing humanity's most valuable resource—Information. Today, a specialist in this field is a Data Curator, an architect of digital repositories, and a strategist of information chaos. The objects of activity for our students include designing intelligent systems, Big Data management, creating e-government frameworks, and digitizing cultural heritage, allowing raw data to be transformed into structured knowledge.
The goal of training is to transform you into a professional "knowledge navigator" capable of instantly finding a needle in a haystack of terabytes. We will teach you how to build modern digital hubs, master blockchain technologies for document security, and manage brand reputation through working with archives and databases. This is a synthesis of IT technologies, management, and analytics. You will learn to create information products that dictate trends in business, science, and public administration.
Your superpower: In a world of "information noise," you will master the art of verification and structuring. You will develop Information Literacy and Systems Thinking—skills without which a digital economy cannot exist. Your professional portfolio will include:
- Digital Curation & Preservation: the skill of preserving digital content (from social media to state registries) for future generations.
- Metadata & SEO Architecture: the ability to describe information so that it is easily discoverable by humans and Google algorithms.
- Cyber-Archiving & e-Government: participating in the creation of paperless offices and services like "Diia."
- Information Monitoring & OSINT: searching and analyzing open-source data for competitive intelligence and security.
Our graduates are indispensable managers in IT corporations, consulting agencies, think tanks, and government institutions, where the ability to organize access to knowledge anywhere on the planet in one click is highly valued.
Objects of activity for graduates include documentary and information resources (both physical and virtual), content management systems, automated library and information networks, archival collections, as well as corporate knowledge and digital memory management strategies.
