The Department of Documentation and Information Activity is a hub of knowledge, creativity, and scientific events. We train specialists capable of efficiently handling documents, information, and cultural assets, while developing critical thinking, communication skills, and professional confidence.

History of the Department
1930: Founded as the Department of Ukrainian Language, laying the foundation for high-quality linguistic and cultural education.
2000: Transformed into the Department of Ukrainian Studies, expanding students’ scientific and practical competencies.
2005: Began training specialists in Documentation and Information Activity.
2014: Renamed to Library, Information, and Archival Studies.
2025: Modernized as the Department of Documentation and Information Activity, combining traditional knowledge with contemporary international practices and cutting-edge information technologies.
