B10 Philosophy

The main goal of studying under specialty B10 Philosophy is to train highly qualified academic, teaching, and research personnel capable of:

- producing new conceptual ideas and proposing innovative philosophical concepts;

- solving complex problems in the field of philosophy, the humanities, and related interdisciplinary areas;

- carrying out a profound rethinking of existing theoretical paradigms and creating new integrated knowledge;

- improving professional and teaching practice by adapting contemporary philosophical discourse to the demands of a globalized society and the era of digital transformations.

The objects of research and scientific-practical activity of higher education degree seekers are:

- complex fundamental and applied problems of contemporary and classical philosophy, the resolution of which ensures the advancement of philosophical science and humanistic knowledge as a whole;

- methodological approaches, principles, and tools of scientific-philosophical research, critical analysis, and hermeneutic interpretation of texts and phenomena;

- strategies for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary synthesis that connect philosophy with natural, social, technical, and digital sciences;

- socio-cultural, ethical, anthropological, and worldview challenges of the modern world (ethics of artificial intelligence, bioethics, social transformation, identity issues, and media philosophy).

In the process of training, education seekers master a complex set of knowledge, skills, and abilities:

- research and academic autonomy: the ability to independently formulate scientific hypotheses, plan, organize, and conduct fundamental philosophical research with a high level of scientific novelty;

- critical thinking and analytics: the skill to deconstruct complex socio-humanitarian discourses, identify hidden conceptual premises, and evaluate the methodological viability of scientific theories;

- interdisciplinary integration: the ability to apply philosophical tools to solve ethical, methodological, and ideological problems in IT, medicine, law, politics, and ecology;

- academic communication and publication activity: skills in presenting research results at the international level, conducting scientific discussions, and writing scientific papers for leading peer-reviewed and international publications (Scopus / Web of Science);

- teaching excellence: readiness to teach fundamental and specialized philosophical disciplines in higher education institutions using modern pedagogical technologies.
