According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1392 dated December 16, 2022, the specialty 152 "Metrology and Information Measuring Technology" has been renamed to 175 "Information and Measurement Technologies" effective September 1, 2023.
The objects of activity for graduates of this specialty include technical, software, mathematical, and informational support for information-measuring equipment; principles of constructing and using measuring instruments; principles and methods of reproducing reference values and standard samples; means of information-measuring technology; methods of measurement, control, testing, and diagnostics; metrological support for scientific, industrial, social, biomedical, environmental, and other activities; traceability and comparability of results; and regulatory documentation related to measurements and their application.
The educational goal is to train specialists capable of comprehensively solving complex tasks in the development and use of measuring equipment; development and practical implementation of standardization and conformity assessment systems; and the use of information technologies for processing measurement results and automating metrological activities during organizational, technical, and applied research in the field of metrology.
Training is conducted at the Department of Intelligent Measuring Systems and Quality Engineering (303).
