113 Applied Mathematics

The objects of activity for graduates of this specialty are mathematical methods, models, algorithms, and software designed for the research, analysis, and design of processes and systems in various specific subject areas.

The goal of training is to prepare specialists capable of:

- formulating, solving, and generalizing practical problems using fundamental and special applied methods of mathematical and computer sciences;

- solving problems of mathematical modeling of processes and phenomena under conditions of uncertainty and incomplete information regarding the functioning of a system of objects;

- building, researching, and applying mathematical models based on data and knowledge, and creating and operating software.

Training is carried out at the Department of Postgraduate education and Doctorate
