The objects of activity for graduates of this specialty are natural and anthropogenic objects, processes, and phenomena in the geospheres in their interconnection, transformation, and development in space and time.
The goal of training is to form the ability of higher education students to solve complex specialized tasks of Earth Sciences and practical problems in the course of professional activity or training, which involves the application of theories and methods of Earth Sciences and is characterized by complexity and uncertainty of conditions; and the ability to carry out scientific research of geospheres and their components, establish patterns of their structure and development, solve complex practical and/or scientific tasks, and based on this, provide an assessment of the impact on human society and the possibilities for industrial use.
Training is carried out at the Department of Geoinformation Technologies and Space Monitoring of the Earth (407)
