Project goal and objectives:
To respond to society's demand for highly qualified specialists in electronics and computer engineering by introducing an integrated model-oriented approach for seamless and effective evolutionary cooperation and communication between higher education institutions and industry. The project idea aligns with the development strategy of Ukrainian universities — the "State Program for Economic Recovery until 2014" and the "Concept of Scientific and Innovation Policy in Higher Education of Ukraine for 2012-2016".
Project objectives:
- introduce a model-oriented approach for effective cooperation between higher education institutions and industry in electronics and computer engineering;
- develop a knowledge-based intelligent system to support the model-oriented approach;
- develop a cloud-based web portal as a communication mechanism between stakeholders;
- organize intensive capacity-building activities based on 3 training modules.
Project activity areas:
- development of a web portal for communication;
- development of an intelligent knowledge-based decision-support system to back the model-oriented approach;
- a set of dissemination activities regarding project implementation.
Achieved results:
1. Web portal established and operating successfully.
2. Developed and successfully implemented a knowledge-based intelligent system to support the model-oriented approach.
3. Developed and piloted 3 training modules.
