Every year, KhAI students participate in an international summer school at Beihang University (Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics), Beijing, PRC. The purpose of the school is to stimulate creative thinking among young people and promote international exchange between Chinese and foreign students in the field of aviation and astronautics. During their studies, participants can expect an intensive program that includes lectures, presentations, and practical sessions led by the most prominent experts in this field.
Students attend lectures on the following topics:
- software and networks in aeronautics, astronautics, and computer science;
- future commercial aviation and air travel;
- aerospace engineering in China;
- modern industrial technologies in the aerospace field;
- composite materials;
- scientific progress in rocketry, etc.
In addition, students have the opportunity to visit research laboratories at Beihang University, as well as participate in seminars and discussions. Over the course of five sessions, each student delivered a 15-minute presentation.
As part of the entertainment program, students are offered daily lunches featuring various national cuisines and sightseeing tours around Beijing.

The summer school is intended for currently enrolled students worldwide.
The school covers hotel accommodation and meals (breakfasts). Transportation expenses are paid by the student independently.
To register, students will need to upload student documents: an official certificate from the dean's office confirming your student status or a bachelor's diploma with its supplement. All documents must be submitted with an English translation.
