Department of aerospace engineering and non-conventional sources of energy
ГоловнаMaster ProgramsDepartment of aerospace engineering and non-conventional sources of energy

Brief annotation:

For over 40 years the department has been alma mater of highly qualified specialists and scholars in the field of space and terrestrial renewable energy, space technology, space plasma thrusters, new ion-plasma technology.

Strong theoretical and practical training is the reason why our graduates are versatile professionals and valuable employees. They are in steady demand of leading enterprises in aerospace, energy and other industries.

Professors, scientists, and senior students of the department are active in scientific researches. Our students regularly win prizes in competitions and receive international research grants.

Since the second half of the twentieth century, rocket and space propulsion engineering is one of the most advanced industries in the world. Modern rocket engines and power plants are the only affordable means of space exploration. An essential element of any spacecraft is a power plant, which includes on-board systems and devices that ensure the production, conversion, storage, and distribution of electricity for the operation of all systems on board.
