    Grounds for accreditation


    The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine submitted an application for accreditation at the National Aerospace University. M. Ya. Zhukovsky "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" for the training of specialists in the educational-professional program "Robot-mechanical systems and complexes" of specialty 131 "Applied Mechanics" for the second (master's) level of higher education.

    The expert commission evaluated the correspondence of the National Aerospace University to them. M. Ya. Zhukovsky "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" on providing educational services in the field of higher education in preparation for the educational and professional program "Robot-mechanical systems and complexes" of specialty 131 "Applied Mechanics" for the second (master's) level of higher education criteria and requirements for accreditation educational programs in higher educational establishments and states that the above-mentioned educational activity of the Department of Theoretical Mechanics, Machine Science and Robot-Mechanical Systems of the National Aerospace University named after. M. E. Zhukovsky "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" meets the accreditation requirements and licensing conditions for providing educational services in the field of higher education.

    Thus, the application of the National Aerospace University named after them. M.J. Zhukovsky "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" regarding the accreditation of the educational-professional program "Robot-mechanical systems and complexes" of specialty 131 "Applied Mechanics" for the second (master's) level within the limits of the licensed volume is considered to be sufficiently substantiated.

     

    General conclusions and suggestions


    Based on the submitted materials on the possibility of accreditation of the educational-professional program "Robot-mechanical systems and complexes" of specialty 131 "Applied Mechanics" for the second (master's) level of higher education with a total licensed volume of 50 persons at the National Aerospace University named after them. M.E. Zhukovsky "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" and the direct verification of the status of organizational, educational, methodological, informational, material and technical and personnel support, as well as the results of educational activities in place, the expert commission reached the following conclusions:

    1. Foundations, licenses and other documents submitted provide legal and organizational foundations of activity and meet state requirements for the accreditation of an educational and professional program.
    2. At the university there is a corresponding training of specialists to the current licensing and accreditation norms, labor market needs. The staffing is in compliance with the established requirements and the report on self-analysis. The state of the material and technical base, organizational, teaching and methodological and information support of each discipline meets the licensing requirements.
    3. The expert examination of the level of masters' education according to the mentioned educational-professional program has shown that the overall success of the training and the quality of training of specialists meet the established criteria and requirements

    However, the expert commission, in order to improve the quality of training specialists, considers it necessary to express the following remarks and recommendations:

    1. To increase the number of scientific publications of scientific and pedagogical workers of the department on the profile of disciplines in international science-computer databases, in particular in Scopus, Web of Science, Index Copernicus, etc.
    2. To increase the filling of the site of the department of theoretical mechanics, machine science and robot-mechanical systems with electronic teaching-methodical literature and methodical recommendations on educational disciplines.
    3. Intensify participation of applicants in the scientific work of the department on the publication of results in scientific and technical conferences of different levels.

    Based on materials submitted for accreditation and verification of the results of the activities of the Department of Theoretical Mechanics, Machine Science and Robotics and Mechanical Systems on the site, the expert commission recommends that the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine accredit the National Aerospace University. M.J. Zhukovsky "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" for the right to prepare students of educational degree "Master" from the educational and professional program "Robot-mechanical systems and complexes" of specialty 131 "Applied Mechanics" of the branch of knowledge 13 "Mechanical Engineering" for the second (master's) level from the total licensed volume of 50 persons of full-time and part-time study forms.
