Yevhen Korostelov

Education:

Higher. In 2013, he graduated from the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport (UkrDUZT) with a degree in "Railway Structures and Track Management".

In 2017, he defended his PhD thesis at the Specialized Academic Council of the State University of Infrastructure and Technologies with a degree in 05.22.06 - Railway Track. Thesis topic: "Increasing the service life of subway rails by slowing down the development of their dominant defects".

In 2021, he graduated from the Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy named after O.M. Beketov with a degree in 193 "Geodesy and Land Management".

Work experience:

Engineer, assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor of the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport (2014–2025);

Deputy Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee of the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport (2018–2023);

Head of the Research Department of the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport (2023–2024);

From 2025 to the present - Dean of the Faculty of International Integration and Academic Mobility, Associate Professor of the Department of Geoinformation Technologies and Monitoring of Earth's Space of the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute".

Total teaching experience - 8 years.

Scientific interests:

increasing the resource of metro rails;

geoinformation systems in land management and urban planning;

modern methods of engineering and geodetic surveys;

digital modeling of terrain and transport networks.

Provision of academic disciplines:

monitoring of land and engineering structures.
