Derkachivskyi Hennadii

Graduated from the M. E. Zhukovsky National Aerospace University "KHAI" and received a higher education in the specialty "Design and production of radio-electronic means".
From 1990 to 1997, he worked as the head of the student dormitory No. 12 of the "Kharkiv Aviation Institute".
From 1997 to 2005 - Deputy Director of the student campus of the M. E. Zhukovsky National Aerospace University "KHAI", from 2005 to 2016 - Head of the operational and technical department of thermal and communication systems of the M. E. Zhukovsky National Aerospace University "KHAI".
From 2016 to 2019, Gennady Anatolyevich held the position of Chief Mechanic of the M. E. Zhukovsky National Aerospace University M. E. Zhukovsky "KHAI", in 2019 he was appointed to the position of director of the student campus of the M. E. Zhukovsky National Aerospace University "KHAI".
Since November 2023, he has been working as a vice-rector of the AGD "KHAI". He successfully fulfills his duties, manages a significant part of the departments involved in the restoration and reconstruction of the university's material and technical base.
He has been repeatedly nominated for the "Icarus KHAI" professional skills competition. For his activities, he was awarded awards from the Kharkiv City Council, the Kharkiv Regional Council and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
During martial law and active hostilities, he was at his workplace and actively carried out a large amount of work to eliminate the consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and restore the improvement of the university as a whole. Under his leadership, major repairs of the safe space were carried out, energy-saving technologies were introduced, buildings were reconstructed, and educational buildings were modernized. The activities of his contribute to improving the image of the higher education institution and creating a comfortable and safe educational environment.
