Since 2005, the University has been providing scientific and technical training for specialists of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) in various fields of aircraft design:
- aircraft control systems;
- aircraft design with consideration for stability;
- aerodynamic aircraft design;
- aircraft engine design;
- design and testing of hydraulic systems for modern aircraft;
- preparation of design and experimentation for aircraft power supply systems;
- strength and reliability of aircraft gas turbine engines;
- application of modern composite materials in engineering and design;
- general design of heavy single-rotor helicopters;
- spatial design methodology and optimization of compressor blade rows.
More than 450 design specialists from aviation corporations have completed short-term training at KhAI.
