He is a Doctor of Technical Sciences (2007), Professor (2010), and Head of the Department of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering at the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute."

Main Research Areas of the School:

Metrology, standardization, and certification;

Qualimetry;

Management systems;

Socio-economic systems;

Artificial Intelligence technologies;

Methods for assessing the quality of diverse qualimetric objects.

Scientific Achievements and Results

Under the scientific supervision of Roman Trishch, a number of Candidate of Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) dissertations have been prepared and successfully defended.

Representatives of the scientific school are actively involved in scientific expertise, educational, and applied activities. They participate in the development of methodological approaches and recommendations in the fields of quality assurance, technical system assessment, and risk management, as well as in the implementation of research projects at national, international, and cross-sectoral levels.

Active international contacts have been established with scientists from Lithuania, Poland, and Bulgaria. Cooperation is realized through participation in international scientific conferences and the preparation of joint grant applications, particularly under research and innovation support programs.

Under the leadership of Roman Trishch, 12 international conferences titled "Quality of Technology – Quality of Life" have been organized.

Scientific Community and Continuity

The founder of the school is a member of the editorial boards of several scientific periodicals in technical and interdisciplinary fields: 1. Editorial board member of "Business: Theory and Practice" (VGTU Press Vilnius, Lithuania, Scopus); Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the international scientific and technical collection "Cutting & Tools in Technological Systems"; Editorial board member of the collection "Measuring Techniques and Metrology" (Professional Edition, Category B); Editorial board member of the journal "Metrology and Instruments" (Professional Edition, Category B).

He is an Academician and member of the Academy of Metrology of Ukraine; a freelance expert of the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine; an Academician and member of the National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine (Department of Energy and Resource Saving).

He also actively participates in professional scientific communities, specialized academic councils, and expert commissions related to standardization, technical regulation, and the assessment of quality and safety of complex systems. Significant attention is paid to scientific and organizational work, the development of cross-sectoral cooperation, and the integration of Ukrainian science into the international research space.

As a science communicator, he actively delivers educational lectures and participates in professional discussions, conferences, and public events aimed at disseminating modern approaches to quality management and technical systems assessment.

The active scientific and organizational work of the school's founder has fostered a stable scientific environment, the development of scientific traditions, and the training of highly qualified personnel. A key result of the school's activity is the significant number of technical science dissertations successfully defended under the supervision of R. M. Trishch.
