Scientific Club “Current Philological Research: Word, Text, Translation, Communication”

The work of the club is based on the principles of scientific rigor, self-development, humanism, democracy, continuity, personal and collective responsibility, collegiality, and transparency in discussing issues.

Members of the club may be students of any year in the "Applied Linguistics" program.

The aim of the club is to identify the most capable and talented students inclined toward scientific research and involve them in the research activities of the department, faculty, and University; to provide students with research skills and their practical application; to deepen research in the areas of the department’s scientific activities with student participation; and to expand the general and professional worldview of the students of the department.

The main tasks of the club are:

─ To organize the research work of the department’s students;

─ To provide students with an in-depth study of materials in their chosen field of philological research;

─ To facilitate the high-quality preparation of scientific reports and presentations on current issues in philological research;

─ To facilitate the high-quality preparation of scientific publications, abstracts, and reviews of published works;

─ To provide students with practical skills for public speaking at club meetings, scientific seminars, and conferences;

─ To involve students in student competitions, olympiads, and similar events;

─ To support student participation in international projects, study programs, and internships abroad;

─ To create conditions for the development of the scientific and creative potential of the department’s students.
