Canada's Mitacs Globalink Research Internship Program for Ukraine
The Mitacs Globalink Research Internship is a competitive initiative for international students from Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and Ukraine. From May to September each year, top-ranked applicants participate in a 12-week research internship under the supervision of Canadian university faculty members across various academic disciplines, ranging from science, engineering, and mathematics to the humanities and social sciences.
Mitacs Globalink Research Internships are currently available at more than 45 universities across Canada.
Participate in the Canadian government's Mitacs Globalink Research Internship program if you:
- are a full-time 3rd-year undergraduate student at a Ukrainian university;
- maintain an academic average above 80%;
- are proficient in English or French at a conversational level (no formal exam certificate required).
Successful candidates will receive:
- a fully-funded 12-week internship at a Canadian university;
- a living stipend and covered accommodation;
- a research project supervised by a Canadian professor and participation in professional development events within your field of interest.
