Development of an Integrated Technology for Fabricating Wear-Resistant Coatings Based on NiTi and TiAl Intermetallics on Titanium Alloy Components, Project №0125U000622

During the execution of the research project, the following scientific and technical tasks will be accomplished:

- established the dependencies of the combined effects of gas temperature and pressure at the nozzle inlet, and the spraying distance, on the thermo-kinetic parameters of the gas flow within the nozzle channel and at its exit, as well as on the acceleration process of selected powder particles in the supersonic nozzle channel, including their temperature and velocity upon impact with the substrate;

- conducted an analysis of the microstructural studies of the coating–substrate interface, coating thickness, and the dependencies of coating adhesion strength on spraying parameters (temperature, gas pressure, and spraying distance).
