During the execution of the research project, the following scientific and technical tasks will be accomplished:
- development of a block diagram of an airborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) installed on an unmanned aerial vehicle and operating in continuous-wave mode with linear frequency modulation;
- derivation of analytical expressions for calculating parameters of the component base required for practical radar implementation, depending on experimental conditions and specified tactical and technical characteristics;
- development of conceptual design drawings of the airborne SAR;
- fabrication of an experimental prototype of the airborne synthetic aperture radar, predominantly based on domestically manufactured components;
analysis of laboratory experimental studies of the prototype airborne radar operation using test objects that scatter radar signals with known characteristics.
