1. General Provisions

1.1 Regulations on the Student Research Club "DIGITAL MARKETING" of the Department of Economics and Marketing (hereinafter - the Regulations) of National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" (hereinafter - the University) have been developed in accordance with the Laws of Ukraine "On Education" dated 05.09.2017 No. 2142-VIII (as amended), "On Higher Education" dated 01.07.2014 No. 1556-VII (as amended), "On the Organization of Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activities in Higher Educational Institutions of III and IV Accreditation Levels", approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 01.06.2006 No. 422, and the Statute of National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" (hereinafter - the Statute).

1.2 The Student Research Club "DIGITAL MARKETING" (hereinafter - the Club) operates under the Department of Economics and Marketing and the Faculty of Software Engineering and Business on a free basis. The Club's work is based on the principles of scientific approach, self-development, humanism, democracy, continuity, personal and collective responsibility, collegiality, and open discussion of matters within its competence.

1.3 The Head of the Club and the instructor conducting practical and theoretical sessions with the Club members ensure the compliance of the Club members with the University's internal regulations.

1.4 The Club is established, reorganized, or liquidated by an order of the Rector pursuant to the decision of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Software Engineering and Business, which includes the Department of Economics and Marketing.

1.5 University students and high school students may become members of the Club.

1.6 Termination of the Club's activities is carried out through its liquidation or reorganization. In case of reorganization, all documentation of the Club concerning primary activities must be timely transferred to the successor for storage, and in case of liquidation — to the University Archives.

1.7 In necessary cases, the Club may be located on the premises of an enterprise or organization and use their material and technical facilities. Both University staff members and leading specialists from enterprises and organizations interested in the Club's activities and the results of its work may be involved in the Club.

2. Main Tasks

2.1 The goals of the Club's work are:

- identification of the most capable, talented students and postgraduate students inclined towards research work;

- deepening research in the scientific areas of the Department involving students and high school students;

- acquisition of scientific research skills;

- boosting high school students' interest in the fields of activity of the Department of Economics and Marketing as part of career guidance work;

- involving gifted students in scientific research activities.

2.2 The main tasks of the Club are:

- involving students and high school students who show an interest in research work;

- organizing research work for students and high school students;

- in-depth study by students and high school students of materials in the chosen direction;

- preparation of scientific reports, communications, and papers on current issues of the relevant field, delivering presentations at meetings of the research club, scientific seminars, and conferences;

- preparation of scientific publications, reviews, and abstracts for published works;

- involvement in applied developments, test stands, and prototypes;

- involvement in student competitions, olympiads, etc.

2.3 Involving members in carrying out scientific research conducted at the Department, including under commercial contracts.

3. Membership in the Club

3.1 The Club operates on the basis of voluntary membership.

3.2 Membership in the Club is official, but not limited.

3.3 Any student or high school student who wishes to deepen their knowledge of the subject and acquire research skills may become a member of the Club.

3.4 Admission to membership of the Club is conducted upon personal application of the student or high school student.

4. Organization and Leadership of the Club

4.1 The organization of the Club's work and its leadership are carried out by the Head, appointed by the Head of the Department from among the academic staff of the Department who hold a doctoral degree or candidate of sciences degree; as an exception — without an academic degree, but with sufficient work experience and relevant published works confirming their qualification level.

4.2 The work of the Club is conducted throughout the week in accordance with the schedule and internal organization of the University.

4.3 Meetings of the Club are held at least twice a month to discuss the results of scientific and practical works, abstract reports, etc.

4.4 Organizational work of the Club is carried out by the Student Head (Monitor), who is elected by a majority open vote at a meeting and approved by the Head of the Club.

4.5 Before the start of the academic year, a detailed annual work plan for the Club is drawn up, developed in accordance with the scientific research agenda of the Department and approved by the Head of the Department.

4.6 Scientific seminars are organized.

4.7 Club supervision activities are included in the teaching workload of the Head of the Club at the Department of Economics and Marketing.

4.8 Academic staff from both the Department of Economics and Marketing and other departments, as well as professionals from related fields, may be involved in the Club's activities.

5. Rights and Duties of Club Members

5.1 Members of the Club have the right:

- to attend and deliver presentations and scientific reports at meetings of the research club;

- carry out scientific research work under the supervision of an academic staff member of the Department;

- publish the results of their work in university-wide and other scientific publications; participate in scientific conferences, olympiads, exhibitions, and competitions at various levels;

- transfer voluntarily from one student research club to another;

- participate in all events organized within the scope of the club's activities;

- contribute to attracting new members to the club or discussion club;

- elect and be elected to the governing bodies of the club.

5.2 Club members are obliged to:

- familiarize themselves with draft decisions of the club leadership regarding its activities;

- interact with employees of other structural units of the University to fulfill designated tasks;

- participate in the work of structural units and governing bodies of the University where issues concerning the club's activities are discussed and resolved;

- possess all other rights provided for by current labor legislation of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education", and the Collective Bargaining Agreement of the University.

6. Rights and Duties of the Club Head

6.1 The Head of the club has the right to:

- familiarize themselves with draft decisions of the leadership concerning their activities;

- participate in discussions on issues related to the performance of their duties as the Head of the club;

- participate in discussions of draft orders, instructions, or other documents within their scope of competence;

- sign and countersign documents within their scope of competence;

- participate in the work of all units and governing bodies of the University where issues concerning the club's activities are discussed and resolved;

- represent the interests of the University in international organizations, state institutions, and domestic enterprises and organizations within the granted authority as commissioned by the Rector;

- notify their direct supervisor of all shortcomings identified during the execution of their duties and submit proposals for their elimination;

- appeal orders, instructions, and other administrative documents issued by higher officials in accordance with established procedures.

6.2 The Head of the club is obliged to:

- familiarize themselves with draft decisions of the leadership concerning their activities;

- prepare plans and reports on the club's work and ensure their timely submission to the Department of Economics and Marketing;

- systematically conduct organizational and information work;

- facilitate the timely execution of the research work plan by club members; compile periodic reports on the club's work at its meetings and meetings of the Department of Economics and Marketing;

- represent the interests of the club within the University;

- participate in discussions on issues related to the performance of their official duties;

- participate in discussions of draft orders, instructions, or other documents within their scope of competence;

- interact with employees of other structural units of the University to fulfill designated tasks and duties;

- sign and countersign documents within their scope of competence;

- receive information relevant to the execution of their duties from the structural units of the University;

- participate in the work of structural units and governing bodies of the University where issues concerning the club's activities are discussed and resolved;

- notify their direct supervisor of all shortcomings identified during the execution of their official duties and submit proposals for their elimination;

- appeal orders, instructions, and other administrative documents issued by higher officials in accordance with established procedures;

- possess all other rights provided for by current labor legislation of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education", and the Collective Bargaining Agreement of the University.

7. Final Provisions

7.1 Regulations on the club are approved by the Academic Council of the University, agreed upon with the Assistant Rector for Quality Assurance of Education and the Head of the Legal Department of the University.

7.2 Regulations on the club are enacted by an order of the Rector of the University.

7.3 Amendments and/or additions to these Regulations are made in accordance with the procedure established for their adoption.
