Annual leave:
The employee personally submits an application for annual leave to the Human Resources Department no later than three weeks before the start date of the leave;
The application must include:
- personal signature;
- signature and surname of the immediate supervisor;
- signature of the vice-rector (rector).

Leave without pay:
- An application for leave without pay must be submitted to the Human Resources Department in advance, but no later than three working days before the start date of the leave (the duration of leave is limited by law for different categories of employees).

Leave without pay during martial law:
During maternity leave (126 calendar days), the employee must formally arrange the leave;
- After maternity leave, the employee has the right to return to work or arrange childcare leave until the child reaches 3 years of age;
- When arranging childcare leave until the child reaches 6 years of age, a medical certificate must be provided confirming the need for home care.
- An application for childcare leave for children up to 3 years and up to 6 years is submitted to the Human Resources Department in advance, but no later than three working days before the start of leave.
All leave applications must include personal signature, signature and surname of the immediate supervisor, signature of the vice-rector (rector).
