The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Award for Special Achievements of Youth in the Development of Ukraine (hereinafter – the Award) is granted to young people whose outstanding achievements contribute to the development of youth initiatives at the local level.
The Award is given to individuals up to 35 years old for achievements in the development of Ukraine during the calendar year preceding the award. Achievements from previous years may also be taken into account.
Up to 20 Awards are granted annually, each in the amount of 50,000 UAH.
The Award is not granted repeatedly, nor for achievements specified in paragraph 3 of this Regulation, for which individuals have already been recognized with state awards.
The Award is given for special achievements that contribute to the development of youth initiatives at the local level in the previous year in the following areas:
1) human rights and political activities, anti-corruption efforts, development of local self-government, participation in self-organization bodies of the population, resolution of housing and communal issues;
2) national-patriotic education, strengthening national identity based on the spiritual values of the Ukrainian people, national uniqueness, preparing youth to defend the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, dedication shown in defending independence and territorial integrity, promoting service in the Armed Forces and other legally established military and law enforcement bodies among youth;
3) honoring and assisting participants in the struggle for Ukraine's independence in the 20th century, victims of political repression and their families, arranging military-memorial sites related to the struggle for independence and territorial integrity, restoring and preserving national memory;
4) development of volunteer initiatives aimed at helping the population meet their food, sanitary, medical, and other needs during martial law in Ukraine, and other volunteer initiatives supporting the population and engaging youth in Ukraine’s recovery;
5) implementation of youth entrepreneurial initiatives in creating, running, and restoring businesses, creating new jobs, education and employment of youth, including vulnerable groups;
6) promotion of a healthy lifestyle, mass sports, prevention, and public health protection;
7) initiatives aimed at protecting children's rights, promoting the family institution, responsible parenting and motherhood;
8) protection of people, territories, the environment, and property from emergencies, environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, providing aid that contributes to the preservation (stabilization) of human life during martial law in Ukraine, evacuation/relocation/transfer of civilians from areas of active or former combat or temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation to other territories of Ukraine.
Applications are now open for the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Award for Special Achievements of Youth in the Development of Ukraine.

Applications can be submitted until March 1, 2026.
