- Digitalization of the university’s research process in the context of Ukraine’s European integration;
- application of innovative approaches in research conducted at the university to solve pressing problems of technical science in the field of aviation and aerospace engineering as well as the socio-economic development of the country, with a focus on the needs of innovative development of the educational process and society;
- training of scientific personnel through postgraduate and doctoral studies, research internships, including those abroad, as well as through joint departments with universities and other forms;
- establishment of specialized academic councils at the university for the defense of Candidate of Sciences and Doctor of Sciences dissertations;
- implementation in production and scientific support of completed research and development projects, expansion of the use of modern technologies, and development of competitive products;
- conducting patent and information research, patenting new technical solutions, carrying out marketing and advertising-information activities;
- search for new forms of cooperation with customers of potential scientific products;
- networking of the university’s system of scientific schools and creation of digital databases of their research and innovative products;
- scientific and expert assistance to enterprises and organizations in the field of scientific and technical activities, examination of scientific and technical projects, developments, and ideas commissioned by the National Space Agency of Ukraine;
- organization and holding of scientific and technical congresses, conferences at the international, national and regional levels, seminars, symposiums, round tables, etc., in order to present the university’s scientific achievements and exchange experience with colleagues from other countries;
- preparation and publication of scientific works and collections in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Space Agency of Ukraine;
- comprehensive cooperation with leading aviation and aerospace companies, research institutes and scientific centers;
- promotion of student involvement in active participation in scientific projects, developments and innovative programs, enabling them to gain practical experience and improve their professional skills;
- further development of the existing comprehensive automated experimental base of the university;
- close cooperation with leading aviation and aerospace companies and research institutes;
- conducting research commissioned by leading enterprises of the aviation industry of Ukraine and foreign organizations with active involvement of students;
- participation of students in research projects related to solving important problems of Ukraine’s industry in various fields, with further participation in international scientific and technical projects;
- dissemination of scientific achievements of academic staff in monographs, manuals, and articles in professional journals, including those indexed in scientometric databases SCOPUS and WEB OF SCIENCE;
- continuous monitoring and internal audit of the results of fundamental and applied research of the university, as well as identification of their priorities in accordance with global trends in the scientific mainstream;
- support and facilitation of highly competitive projects prepared by the university’s researchers for participation in various competitions;
- establishing effective communication with representatives of national and international foundations and grant-giving organizations in Ukraine;
- expanding the commercialization of innovative developments of the university’s scientists through the use of technology transfer mechanisms and protection of intellectual property rights;
- formation of legal competencies in the fields of information law and transport law in accordance with modern labor market and academic environment requirements;
- organization of interaction of public administration in the field of civil security.
