XXXI International Congress of Engine Engineers

On September 8, the XXXI International Congress of Engine Engineers began its work in the protected space of KhAI "Open Sky".

This year, it again brought together representatives of leading universities, scientific institutions and enterprises of the aviation and machine-building industries.

The Congress will last from September 8 to 11. Its organizers are:

- National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute";

- National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute";

- Joint-Stock Company "Zaporizhzhya Machine-Building Design Bureau "Progress" named after Academician O. G. IVCHENKO";

- Joint-Stock Company "FED";

- Politechnika Warszawska;

- Kielce University of Technology;

- Piri Reis University;

- Milli Aviasiya Akademiyası.

The first day began with a plenary session. The congress participants were welcomed by the rector of KhAI Oleksii LYTVYNOV and the acting rector of NTU "KhPI" Galyna TYMCHENKO.

Then the participants moved on to the main part of the plenary session.

Igor KRAVCHENKO presented a report "Main modern trends in the development of power plants for promising civil aircraft".

Denis MESHKOV spoke about the experience of a comprehensive approach to activating the creative activity of students of the Department of Engines and Hybrid Power Plants of NTU "KhPI".

Roman VARBANETS presented the results of the analysis of the characteristics of marine engines using DEPAS 5.0W, Wavelet Vibroacoustics and artificial intelligence.

Special attention was paid to the issues of aircraft engine operation. Serhiy EPIFANOV and Yevhen MARTSENYUK considered the problems of operational monitoring of the intended resource of the main parts of aircraft engines.

Another special part of the first day was the message of Andriy MARCHENKO and Yevgeny BILOUSOV, dedicated to the scientists-engineers - the jubilees of the year.

An important component of the congress is the combination of science, education and real production. It is this format that makes it possible not only to present the results of research, but also to discuss modern challenges and prospects for the development of engine engineering together with representatives of leading enterprises and higher education institutions.

Ahead are several more days of the congress, new reports, professional discussions and exchange of experience.
