On May 6, the XXII Scientific and Technical Conference "Modern Problems of Rocket and Space Engineering and Technology" officially ended at the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute".
These were busy days of discussions, presentations and scientific research, which once again proved that Ukrainian aerospace science is not only alive, but also actively developing.
This year, the conference work covered 7 sections, where more than 50 scientific papers and reports were presented:
- Physical and mathematical modeling: Anna Koloskova and Vladislav Oleksandrovych presented research in the field of aerospace engineering.
- Space energy: Oleksiy Dzvonysky and Mykhailo Baranov discussed intelligent battery management (BMS).
- Engines and plasma technologies: Serhiy Lobov and Vitaliy Antyushin worked on the section on electrojet engines.
- Composite structures: Igor Taranenko presented the results of using complex methods for comparing design solutions.
- System analysis: Sofia Ivanova (evaluation of electric vehicles), Diana Sokyrko and Lyudmila Mamicheva defended their research.
- GIS technologies: The section began with an introductory speech by the director of the Navigation and Geodetic Center, Oleksandr Gorb.
- Geometric modeling and design: Oleksandr Ryda and Kateryna Msallam demonstrated modern approaches to designing forms.
And many other interesting reports and research.
A separate and extremely important page of the conference was the commemoration of Mykola BELAN - the founder and first dean of the Faculty of Rocket and Space Engineering.
Mykola's family addressed the organizing committee and participants with touching words of gratitude: "We sincerely thank everyone who participated in the organization and holding of the XXII Scientific and Technical Conference of the Faculty of Rocket and Space Engineering of Khai, as well as in honoring the memory of our father - Mykola Belan. For our family, it is extremely important and touching to see that his contribution to the development of the faculty is not forgotten, that his name lives on among colleagues, students and future generations of students. It is especially valuable that a separate page of the conference was dedicated to him - the founder and first dean of the faculty. We are sincerely proud that the faculty continues to live, work and develop even in this difficult time for the country. Despite the war, you preserve the scientific tradition, unite people and move the aerospace industry of Ukraine forward. Thank you for the memory, for the respect and for continuing the work to which our father dedicated his life. With deep gratitude to all of KhAI — the family of Mykola Belan. Children and grandchildren.
