During today's meeting of the administration of the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute", significant achievements of the university at the international level were noted. KhAI took part in the XVII International Exhibition "Modern Educational Institutions - 2026" and demonstrated strong results in several nominations at once.
The university won three gold medals:
- in the nomination "Environmental Education: Forming a Responsible Attitude to the Environment in the Era of Digital Transformation" - the team of the Department of Ecology and Technogenic Safety;
- in the nomination "Inclusion in Action: Modern Approaches to Working with Children with Special Educational Needs" - the scientific work of Oleksii Lytvynov and Iryna Shevchenko;
- in the nomination "Roadmap for the Development of Partnership in the Field of Vocational Education" - a team of authors with the participation of the Center for Quality Education and the administration.
The authors of the works were separately awarded with appropriate certificates.
The highest achievement was the Grand Prix “Higher Education of Ukraine”, which the university was awarded for professional presentation of achievements and significant contribution to the development and improvement of the quality of education in Ukraine.
Those present applauded not only the awards - but also the confirmation that even in difficult conditions, KhAI shapes modern education, sets standards and works for the future of the country.
Another event of the meeting was especially warm and touching.
To applause and sincere words of greeting from the acting rector, Oleksiy Lytvynov presented a certificate of gratitude for the 85th anniversary of KhAI and the university’s trade union organization to the legendary professor Oleksandr Grebenikov.
And here came the moment that all KhAI students will appreciate.
It is well known: Oleksandr is always a smile, good advice and traditional gifts for colleagues, women and children. And this time the tradition was continued: in the appropriate speech he invited everyone to his 100th anniversary and presented the university with a symbolic gift - a large Kharkiv cake.
Applause. Laughter. Festive mood.
This is exactly what this ceremony was like.
We thank everyone who, with their lives, experience and tireless work, keeps the wings of KhAI afloat.
