Yesterday, June 14, the world celebrated World Blood Donor Day — a day of gratitude to people who selflessly help others and give a chance for life.
Today, blood donation is extremely important for Ukraine. Blood components are needed daily by wounded soldiers, civilians, children and hospital patients. Each donation can save several lives, and each donor becomes part of a great relief cause.
National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" supports the development of the culture of donation and expresses sincere gratitude to everyone who finds an opportunity to help others even in the most difficult times.
From June 9 to 18, events dedicated to the World Blood Donor Day are taking place in Kharkiv.
The central event will take place TODAY, JUNE 15, at 11:00 a.m. in the Kharkiv Regional Blood Service Center (366 Klochkivska St.).
We invite students, teachers, employees and graduates of Khai to join the donor movement. After all, sometimes just one donation becomes someone's only chance for recovery and life.
