The Kharkiv branch of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center hosted a workshop called “Modern Opportunities of the Employment Service: StartUp without Start-up Capital for Youth.” The event was timed to coincide with the second anniversary of the “Made in Ukraine” policy initiated by the President of Ukraine.
KhAI students, along with Associate Professor of Department 305 Victoriia Burdeina, joined the event. It was an opportunity not just to listen, but to figure out what real tools today help start entrepreneurship.
They spoke frankly about ideas, doubts, first steps, and big plans. Students actively asked questions, shared their thoughts, and received practical advice.
The stories of grantees—people who went from “will it work?” to their own business—were particularly touching. They remind us once again: you can start even without large resources. The main thing is not to procrastinate.
The participants were shown specific opportunities: grants, training, and support for business ideas. And most importantly, the employment service was presented as a partner that supports at all stages - from the first idea to its implementation.
Separately, they talked about the capabilities of the Kharkiv Center for Vocational Education of the Employment Service - after all, new skills are often the starting point.
